Chinese online gamer dies after three-day session
niceandfriendly replied to Spudders's topic in The Lounge
Despite being the third (at this point) largest economic power in the world, China is still very much a developing country. Huge sections of the population live in poverty, and the vast majority of citizens don't have simple appliances that we take for granted; microwaves, vacuum cleaners, computers for example. Very rare. These internet cafes are extremely popular and can be found everywhere. -
Another good'un

Was this about to post this clip :D Look after ya broom!!
-
I'm surprised nobody has mentioned this before actually. Recently Radio Solent has been terrible for Saints coverage this season.
-
Very important player for us. It was Malcolm Christie IIRC who crocked him during our relegation season, whilst playing for Boro. I remember it clearly because it completely ****ed our season. He was a big miss.
-
I think will be unanimous. Adam Lallana every time. Oxlade-Chamberlain could and probably will become a top player in the Premiership, but at the moment he is definitely not better than Lallana.
-
Absolutely. The club airbrushing our history? For that to be said, in this year of all years, with all the 125 years celebrations, that comment is genius. Never thought I'd see that! thanks patred for making my day.

Totally agree. this argument about Cortese not showing respect is a nonsense.

Morons to the left of me, morons to the right

I guess this mentality sums the thread up nicely. Problem with someone or something? FIGHT!!!!! That'll solve everything. -
A wonderful victory for the people and for democracy. Well done Egypt, RIP those who passed away for the cause.
-
Indeed. I remember being at Rotherham when he scored. Can't remember too much else that he did, but I liked him.
-
What did happen to him? Can't even find a page on wikipedia about him. Here's a story from when he signed for us though http://www.thisislondon.co.uk/sport/article-1083748-aussie-lucas-is-playing-it-kewell.do

Oh, sorry. I just assumed you were a homosexual.

Fair enough about the first part of your sentence, if that's true, but yeah I notice those typos in every newspaper I read and it bugs me.
-
It costs nothing to read your work mate. Even in this economy, that's a pretty poor excuse.

It was a good documentary. China is the place to be right now. I've been back and forth here and there over the last few years, finally making the move permanent this July. Anyone need any cheap goods let me know. (seriously)

No, sorry, I'm not with you on this one. It drives me mad when I see spelling errors or gramatical faults in a professional document such as a newspaper or letter. Don't get me wrong I'm not perfect and I often write like a school child on here, but it shouldn't happen in a newspaper. Also, I'm sure they employ proof-readers for this exact purpose. How can you miss something as obvious as that? Not the end of the world though.

What actually is this? Haven't been bothered to check it out yet.

Working late tonight, might pop online around midnight though

His partnership with Viafara in the middle of the park (whenever Clueless George decided to play them together) was great. They performed very well, and Pele's best position is clearly centre mid. Can't remember how he played as a centre back to be honest as won't have played there for us many times, but he certainly was not one of our worst ever.

Just added you, my friend.

Ah, Valentines is coming up? Another reason to be happy that my Mrs broke up with me. I'm happy she did that. No really I am.

Cortese clarifies the current position (Daily Telegraph)

After every interview NC does my admiration for how he is running the club increases. What a complete and utter change from the last few ignoramuses we've had at the helm.
