An awful lot of posters regularly come up with stuff like "AP should have done much better this season" and "Midtable is simply not good enough". I think that's what the OP is referring to. They're welcome to their opinion of course, but most people tend to agree that AP has done a good job this season.

I'd love it if we signed Papa. Despite the fact he hasn't got a great footballing brain, the effort he puts in and the goals he gets are vital. After I watched the Swindon away game, I admit to doubting Alan Pardew. What a fool I was. This season has been great fun, and it's an unexpected surprise to be so close to the play offs (not to mention a Wembley victory). We're lucky to have a manager like AP.

I find it strange how people are surprised when fans come out of the woodwork to watch big games, then stay at home for the likes of Leyton Orient or Hartlepool. This happens at every level of football throughout the whole world. Even Man Utd don't sell out some of their less attractive games. Some people just like to watch big games/occasions, they're not bothered about the smaller games. That's not a big deal for me. I'd rather they came every week too, but they choose not to. Can't see the problem really. I think there will be around 24k for Leyton Orient and again that'll be a cracking attendance for this level of football.

The 09.51 from Hampton Wick was practically empty, until we pulled into Richmond and every stop thereafter, which was full of Saints fans.

Felt really pleased for Wotton at the end. Probably was his last (or maybe second to last ) chance to win something at Wembley with his career coming to and end so it was great to see him celebrating like we'd just won the Champions League.

From all the photos I took at the end, AP is with the players waving and enjoying the moment. Nothing to worry about methinks.

It's nice that we're trying to deflect the attention away from the idiots who booed, but some people can categorically say that Cortese was given a bad reception as soon as he came on screen. We have a small minority of fans who are morons (just like every club). Let's not try and pretend that we're all perfect. Some people booed Cortese (probably tabloid subscribers), the majority didn't, it didn't ruin the day. Let's move on.

No. It was before the game started. People were definitely booing Cortese (even a few around where I was sitting). Which is absolutely mental.

It was the most blatant handball you're ever likely to see, yet the ref somehow managed to miss it! Thankfully the lino didn't. Harding was my MOTM, playing on his weak side too. Brilliant.
