  1. How do you mean? The CVA has been agreed, so they know how much they have to pay back. So the only unknown can be debt that the administrators have racked up; and as sh*t as Tricky Trev has been for them, he's not allowed to incur debt.
  2. Bear; that's twice in the last hour you've enlightened me. I'd completely forgotten that the Ramirez deal was in two parts. You really are smarter than the average bear.
  3. Sorry; which South Americans are you talking about?
  4. I totes forgot about your investigative journalistic skills, Bear. I won't forget a second time, don't you worry about that.
  5. That explains it.
  6. True enough; but the whole management of that situation is bizarre in the extreme. If he isn't in contention as he isn't fit enough, then why on earth did he play 2 first team games in the first place? Did it really take those games to realise he wasn't fit? And then, why bin him out of the squad altogether (if it wasn't for disciplinary reasons, which it surely must have been). I doubt the full truth will ever come out, but it really is thoroughly odd what's happened there. And without Boruc as an option, Davis is no real competition for Gazza so we're a bit stuck really.
  7. Well there we go. At least we know how boring we both are now with it.
  8. TDD, your never ending anti-Gazza crusade is turning you into a sh*t version of Alpine.
  9. Just going by the MOTD commentary; all of them referred to Adkins' comments but that he had nothing to complain about. I thought it was a foul, interpretation is difficult these days, getting the ball first doesn't necessarily mean it isnt a foul.
  10. You silly boy.
  11. Well Clattenburg got absolute dogs abuse for giving us nothing throughout the Norwich game; huge ironic cheers when he finally did. I think NA also complained about the Clyne tackle/foul that led to Snodgrass's goal, but replays showed that was fine (as was Lambert's goal despite Hughton whining it was handball).
  12. When he says "squad" does he mean the 17, or just the SFC squad in general? I can only pray that he means Forte is in the general squad and won't be involved on matchday. Forte's loan at Crawley was for 3 months and expired on 17th November, he hasn't played for them since. Oh God; he's going to be in the matchday squad, isn't he?!
  13. Is this also the one that Romsey Stu went for?
  14. At least two? Oooh, names, this is interesting!
  15. Is this the case? My understanding is that he cannot stand the test until he is put forward as the preferred creditor by PKF. Portpin went through some initial discussions with the FL regarding the test; unless I'm missing something I don't think they actually failed the test, they just hadn't provided enough responses to the FL's direct questioning. No idea myself; the skates seem convinced that the Chinster has failed but I've seen nothing to confirm that either way.
  16. Hopefully his first action will be saying to Cortese: "You know what; we're really missing a trick not engaging properly with the local media. Let's sort that out, shall we?". Somehow I think that is rather unlikely, though.
  17. Dear Lord. Is this really your way of saying I'm wrong?! Swansea are asking for planning permission. Next year. A bit like Reading did years ago. A bit like I have previously suggested we might like to do too. And "my plan" is for Saints. Not Swansea. The two are separate cases, you see.
  18. A rather pertinent part of the article.... The stadium's current capacity is around 20,500, but the high-flying club is missing out on match-day revenue due to the demand to see them live. "We can do the east (stand) first probably if we want to, then decide on doing one of the other two or both at the same time," said Mr Jenkins. "But as we all know in football we don't know what's round the corner, so we have got be careful and make sure we do everything within what we can afford.
  19. Looks like another 500 or so tickets have gone on sale in the home end in block 43.
  20. Jesus. Thanks for going to that trouble.
  21. There's plenty of candidates for Mr. Grumpy, that's for sure.
  22. Strong seems like an arrogant bastard. Tickle is a good lad, I always quite liked Messy too.
  23. I'm not even sure of the legalese terms; I just refer to it as that as everyone knows what you mean. And I also know that its not exactly beyond all means possible to have those retsrictions lifted, should one party be so disposed.
  24. And you've got to wonder if he thinks its worth the effort any more. Even if his own fag packet maths are correct, the valuation of Fratton is nowhere near what he claims he is owed. £6M or £7M at an absolute push for that land, probably less (and that's not taking into account the covenant, which he has to successfully fight in order to get any more than the £2.75M on offer). He's absolutely hated down there, who would want to stay around with a few hundred of their rabidly ugly mob sharpening their pitchforks. I think he's tried to delay it all and derail the PDT bid as much as he can, but will come to some form of agreement before it gets into court and leave with his £2.75M plus whatever he gets from the CVA, and be done with it. Surely nothing else will keep him around any longer.
  25. Chainrai will have dropped a massive ricket if things don't go his way in court. That said, I think the PDT will get their way on this one; Chinny has played this one extremely poorly. From what I hear a request for adjournment was denied and Portpin have now got an independent valuer to assess the Fratton site. Half of me would be surprsied if this even reaches court; I think Chainrai has completely f*cked himself here.
