Wowzers, that's a marquee signing should we get him. We have Pardew so that's a postive factor in bringing him to the club, but Norwich's league status may prove the difference. I'm not suggesting Norwich will struggle next season (I'd get a kick in the nuts from the missus if I suggest that), but perhaps a successful season with the League One's best team could persuade him to come - I'm doubtful though, as Charlton will be wanting to mount a promotion challenge of their own. Is there that much difference between us and Charlton at the moment? I'm not so sure...

+1. There will be MASSIVE unrest both at the club and on here if we don't finish in the top two at the end of next season. Promotion, I don't even care if it's as Champions, is essential. I'm worried that the SMS bogs don't have enough bog paper, and one day I'll have the squits and nothing to wipe up with. Tis a worry all right, a major worry. If we're in financial trouble, maybe that's why there's no bog paper after half time, it would explain a few things. This is the first summer in years, perhaps since Burley's big summer of spending, that we haven't had anything to worry about. I'm enjoying it. Ergo, I think Capello has got it spot on. We're not the best team on paper in the tournament (Argentina are IMO), but team spirit could potentially see us through. Do we have enough of it though?
