In that, I was adding that Saga and Rasiak are still here, which more than likely won't happen. Let's judge the team at the end of August, not before.

For the CCC yes, we'd be torn a new asshole if we were in the CCC, but we're in League One this season. While I doubt we'd last the whole season, with the team we currently have we'd easily finish in the top half.

So Murty's been offered a contract. Either he's a slow writer or he's still mulling it over. I'm assuming it's a pay cut from Reading, but at 34 he should be thankful for what he can get! I think he's be good for us, he's an old pro with bags of experience and could give us a couple of good seasons. I wonder if we can get a spy into the training ground this week to espy the new signings... ;-)

Not disheartened by this, and I haven't been ribbed as much as I thought I would by the QPR fans here at work. It's a long road to promotion, I feel it will happen over two or three seasons, and I think we could be in a much worse position than we are. Gillett and Mills could be the young stars of this league this season, Murty, Thomas, Davis and Perry are the experienced heads on an otherwise young team. I'm bloody looking forward to the start of the season now, and with Pardew claiming there could be one or two signings in the coming week, I'm just can't wait!!! UTS!!!

Ask me again at the end of August when the transfer window shuts, but you'd be smart to put your money on anyone but Norwich. Whaley is a good buy, and I'll be roasted by my other half for not saying so.

I've always had a mild touch of agoraphobia, not that i can't leave my house but that large groups of people leave me uncomfortable, brought on i think by millenium eve when crushed in London. In the past, i've only made a couple of journeys to away games when i can get friends to come, but this year i'm over it and will be travelling alone to St Mary's as much as work allows!

The speculation on here is that both seem destined for the CCC in a joint deal to Swansea. Whether that's true or not, I'd be a damn shame. They would be immense in this league, and finding players to replace them would be no small task. In Pardew we trust I guess, but I'd certainly like to see efforts made to make Rasiak feel this is his home!

I'd be chuffed to bits... ...so long as we kept Rasiak and Saga. If our team is kept as it is right at this moment in time, I think we'd be ok in the League. I still think signings will happen in the next week, but boy are they keeping us waiting!

Finally we are in a financial position to keep to talented youth! Five years late, but ecstatic!
