  1. Kane does look better than Sturridge.
  2. Right, does that mean we can stop watching Liverpool/Spurs until the 85th minute?
  3. Bournemouth doing well. 1-0 up.
  4. Tuesday Arsenal v Leicester Hull v Aston Villa Liverpool v Spurs Sunderland v QPR ================= Wednesday Chelsea v Everton Crystal P v Newcastle Man United v Burnley Stoke v Man City WBA v Swansea Fairly straight forward as to what results would be best for us. Leicester/Burnley/Stoke all to win, LFC/Spuds draw, Chelsea win (given that we have no chance of catching them). I can't really see Leicester or Burnley winning, but Stoke might. Would also like to see Hull, Sunderland, Palace and WBA to win. And let's not forget Bournemouth vs Derby this evening. Hope AFCB win, but have a feeling they won't.
  5. Bit pointless then really, isn't it?
  6. Don't really care so much any more. Well I do actually, but as I have said before, if all they are going to do is jump ship as soon as a big club comes in, what's the point? All it does (obviously ignoring the huge remuneration) is prepare players for our competitors, or aren't we thinking of competing with these big boys?
  7. OK, so he's sorted until June 30th 2015. He's ours for 2 more years after that!!!

Did they give you codeine? I found the side effects even worse than the ribs.
  9. Does it actually exist, or is it a bogus excuse people pull out as an excuse for whatever reason they want? You hear players like Lallana saying that it is completely different playing at LFC than SFC, because of the expectation that the supporters have. On 606 there was a Spuds fan saying MP was better than RK because the expectation placed on RK wasn't there, while it was on MP. It might well be the case that RK would not have been sacked as quickly as MP, but does that weight of expectation really affect performance? And with Lallana, surely all players go out to win, so whether you are playing for Saints or Liverpool, you turn in your best and go out expecting to win every game. I don't think you'll find players in our squad, or that of say WHU, who start the game thinking that they aren't going to win. So again, the weight of expectation really shouldn't affect your performance.

No idea, but I busted my ribs up not so long ago, and it took more than 4 weeks to move properly, let alone play a game.
  11. Can you ask him, what he thinks his gain commercially from the sponsorship has been and whether it is primarily UK based or overseas? Also, does he feel that the Club's cosying up to Garmin, a company with a a turnover of over $2 billion, detracts from his sponsorship deal.
  12. Could have been sacked earlier on with his antics with supporters. Yesterday was also probably a sackable offence, although Pardew seems to have been able to get away with things, so might have set a precedence.
  13. If they had won and beaten us on Wed, that would put them right in the mix.
  14. Bye bye Lukey
  15. 1-1 not too bad if it finishes that way.
  16. De Gea has kept them in a lot of games.
  17. If you had to choose who to play at home on Wednesday, WHU or ManU, I would probably take ManU (just).
  18. He's done 1061 minutes in the PL. Lovren has done (surprisngly) 1219. I was going to say that he was better value than Lovren, but the amount they have played might suggest otherwise. Lovren has played 44 minutes in the PL since Xmas. Basically they are both really poor value, but do think AL is somewhat a better prospect than DL and has a future at LFC. Whether Lovren does is another matter.
  19. Of course it will be, it's the Merseyside derby. I guess it will be North London, Merseyside derbies, Villa/Chelsea, City/Hull, Swansea/Sunderland, QPR/Saints, Leic/Palace. Chelsea and City might be swithced, as might our game and the one at the KP.
  20. Am I allowed to be a cynic here and say that this is a strange post for a new member to make as his first? Anyway, welcome Roboze.
  21. AL is injured so that's a bit harsh as he is a regular starter these days. He is a good player, but no way Brenda could leave £50m ex Saints out of the starting XI if all fit - would mean he has no idea what he is doing re: transfers
  22. Who knows, when Tadic's mate turns up, it might reignite the talent he has, which he does have.
  23. Lovren in the squad! Lambert on the bench with him.
  24. That Algerian bloke we had for a couple of days before he got packed back off to where ever he came. Can't remember his name....Tidier, Taadaa. Tidyhair. Someit like that.
  25. When we signed him, I distinctly remember reading that he could play 9, 10 & 11.
