  1. I'm being entertained by clients at the Ricoh tonight to hopefully see Coventry stuff Pompey. We are doing the corporate bit so I will ask some questions about Ward and try to find out what is going on and report back later this evening.
  2. You forgot your cedilla.
  3. Great to see a good old Blackadder quote. Missed out the word "satanic" between "own" and "herd" though. Sorry for being pedantic !
  4. Isn't that Wotton's job at the moment and to some degree also Hammonds ?
  5. I do as it happens. I also drive an Audi RS4 but have the brain to know when to drive slow and when to drive quick. I also know that kicking a man when he's down is not only cowardly but it's also bloody stupid as eventually you end up in the sh1t.
  6. No. Just lots of decent people who have a brain.
  7. Grow up you silly little boy. Anyone who dishes out a "slap" (and it was a bit more than that - big brave man for kicking someone when they're on the floor) deserves everything they get. It's scum like this that is taking this country down a route from which we will never return. Asbo society. The only way to stop this is for good law abiding citizens to start fighting back (not literally !) and stand up to the scum that surrounds us. Grassing people like this to the police is a good start.
  8. Oi - Houdini. Get back in your box.
  9. SussexSaint - My son is now 10 and I've been taking him regularly to home and away games since the season we were relegated from the Permiership. Indeed, the first game I took him to was when we threw away the 2-0 lead at home to Boro (Redcraps first game in charge I believe). When we go to St Marys we stand in the Northam as that's where he wants to go. The only downside for a young kid is some of the language. My boy has always understood that some of the language is a bit ripe and indeed when he was 7 he asked me what a '******' was after the ref got some abuse. You just need to explain to them that the things they hear at the football they are never to repeat at home in front of their mother otherwise they will never go to a game again. It's always done the trick with my boy and he's never ever repeated it at home. You find a lot of the time that they are so concentrated on watching the game that they don't hear the language anyway. I would fully recommend that you take him. Its a great boys day out and somethng that I will always treasure. He's also stayed with the Saints despite the rubbish we've had ever since he's started watching them.
  10. Nothing has been said about his performance on Saturday. I thought that he was immense. Just what we have been after for some time. Someone who has balls and is not afraid to get stuck in and make tackles that others will pull out of. Him and Harding are seriously good addditions to the team.
  11. im being ultra lazy
  12. Lost this facility on my phone. Anyone know the text number you need to send to subscribe for live score updates ?
  13. No-one I have seen so far has said that they wouldn't do it. Where he has acted like a real moron is admitting it. Shocking lack of judgment by someone who wanted to be a director of our club. He should stick to reporting for Sky.
  14. Pitiful response. Personally I thought NC's summary was precise and to the point. I also suspect that he has stated what a lot of Saints fans are thinking and feeling towards MLT.
  15. A quite appalling lack of judgment from MLT in not just placing the bet in the first place but compounded ten times over by putting it in his autobiography. I would not want to get into business with anyone who lacked such judgment and the new folks at Southampton probably think the same. I would say that this has ended MLT's chances of ever having a position of responsibility or high authority at SFC.
  16. I've always thought that training at the ground may have some real benefits in terms of getting use to the space, the pitch etc. They should try this out for a few weeks and see if it helps
  17. I suspect that Jaidi needed some time to get fit anyway. Brum released him a while ago and therefore probably he will need some time anyway
  18. This is not the Plaice for this type of humour. Bass-tards all of you.
  19. We will lose 2-1
  20. You're either drunk, mad or deluded. We won't get anywhere near the playoffs this year. We will do very well to get in the top half of the table. I would settle now for finnishing the season one place above the relegation zone.
  21. Thomas, Lalana, Schneiderlin and Rasiak
  22. I thought exactly the same. I don't think it is him just someone who looks just like him.
  23. There might be some legs in this story as I see that Brighton have just signed a winger from Wolves
  24. It's on here http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/606/A55998508 PNE fans obviously rate him
  25. Can I ask you if you were there last night ? Nothing written by the people who were there last night is drivel. It's the worse I have ever seen Saints play. It was that bad. The fans do support - they turned up there in their thousands last night. I'm afraid that the faith has been badly dented over the last five years. It was obvious to all the fans there last night that Lancashire and Wotton in particular should not have been on the bench let alone the pitch when he had Perry and Gillett on the bench. Why he played Paterson as a right winger and Lambert as a lone striker were bizarre. Why he left it until the past ten minutes to make the substitutions needs an explanation. I don't over react to things but I have to say that I'm concerned this morning that Pardew last night seemed totally clueless. I had a flashback last night seeing him stand there arms folded of a certain Ian Branfoot.
