“Nothing beats a settled team” and we have never had that this season. Too much chopping and changing.

Halfway down the stairsIs a stairWhere I sit. There isn't anyOther stairQuite likeIt.I'm not at the bottom,I'm not at the top;So this is the stairWhereI alwaysStop.Halfway up the stairsIsn't upAnd isn't down.It isn't in the nursery,It isn't in the town. And all sorts of funny thoughtsRun round my head:"It isn't reallyAnywhere! It's somewhere elseInstead!"

Or look elsewhere.

So what we are saying is…. neither was very effective.

And just look at the results!

But you have gone down some stairs. It’s a metaphor for life. It’s all downwards until you hit the bottom.

One for the lawyers. We can afford to wait.

True, but in fairness his fee probably paid for his treatment.

I didn’t even know it was happening.

Will season ticket prices be released now and will you renew?

Of course. Just like the club. -
He’s out of contract at the end of June.

That’s very generous. The season starts on August 5th. By the end of the month we shall probably have played 5 games or so. -
I guess you’ve never been in business then.

I’ll ask my chatbot for advice.

He seemed to wake up in the last fifteen minutes and realise that the season was coming to an end. A few games too late perhaps.
-
Didn’t he turn his nose up at us?
-
Whatever, he has been missing in action at a time when we need him..
-
I think we would need him next season more than ever.
-
Did we do that this season?
-
No more so than Frank Rand surely? (that one is made up)
-
all very true but as it turned out we would have needed four more wins to have finished above Everton.

I rather believe that if that had been a game under normal circumstances Sulemana would have been 'taken out' long before he got anywhere near their goal. Still very enjoyable all the same and great for his confidence. Unfortunately he got a bit too cocky after that and wasted a couple of good opportunities.

I had a ticket for Norwich away and I had just bought my train trickets when all football was stopped on the day before because of Covid lockdown. Perhaps I shall be able to go this time. Ipswich is also a possibility. My old man used to go and watch them when Alf Ramsey was in charge and we lived near Harwich. Another Chris Marsden goal would be very welcome.
