Isn’t that against their Human Rights?
-
As i pointed out before, on the training ground it's Saints defenders playing against Saints attackers. What could go wrong?
-
The season has now ended for us. Is he still here?
-
Their goal came from our own throw-in in their half.

Perraud looked distraught when he had to go off injured.
-
The drowning man drags others down with him. Yep, I can handle that.
-
Because Bournemouth are fifty years behind the rest of the country.
-
Deported to where? Ukraine?
-
Because he was instructed to to so? Maybe that was part of the story.
-
Has anybody ever worked out the purpose of that? All it does is waste time and bore the fans. On the football side it gets us nowhere.
-
They are not aimed at Saints fans.

I came home and watched the last 15 minutes on fast forward. All I saw was cross after cross being lobbed into their penalty area and being headed straight back out. Nothing being driven flat with pace and accuracy. The starting formation was weird. A back four, JWP and Latvia sitting just in front of them and a midfield two of Alcatraz and Elyonoussi with Walcott right wing and A Armstrong on the left. A sort of 4-2-2-2. There was no linkage or interplay between the defence and the attack. In the first half when we were defending we had everybody back within 35 yards of our goal line. From where I sit in the Kingsland just north of the halfway line I was staring at an empty field of grass.

Bournemouth is where old people go to be ignored. Their fans seem to think that beating us is something special. They don’t realise that most of the other teams in the league do it too.
-
That must have been the Bournemouth players.

My neighbour’s instant reaction was that he hand Selles had had a fallout in the dressing room over the negative way that we had been playing. Hence the diplomatic illness. AMN went into midfield to fill his place and Lyanco came on to replace AMN at right back. We lost any shape that we had in the first half.

He and the centre halves looked as though they’d never played together before. I’ve just watched their goal again and DCC gives a perfect example of how not to play full back. Tavernier just runs past him down the outside and then skips into the penalty area with all the space and time in the world to roll the ball into our net. It’s happened so many times this season that the opposition have been able to run into our penalty area and then pick their spot from twelve yards out.

“And that”, said Sooty, “was that”

I’ve found out tonight that ‘selles’ is the Spanish for ‘useless clueless bag of shite’
-
He let nothing go past him tonight.

Does anybody want him to stay at the club if we are relegated?

A friend of mine was having some work done on her house. She took great care to tell her builders that on no account was her white batheroom suite to be thrown out. When she got back home there was a white bathroom suite in her skip so she stormed in and gave the builders a few choice mouthfuls to which they responded with blank faces. Then she saw her white bathroom suite still in its normal place. And there was One Foot in the Grave,

Gazzaniga was in goal for Girona on Tuesday when they beat Real Madrid 4-2. Like any professional footballer, being thrown in at the top level before you're ready can only lead to hardship and pain.
-
Indeed. But not necessarily in that order.

Too many ‘if onlys’ for it to be just a coincidence that we end up here. The whole strategy is wrong. It’s ok trying to breed success but you can’t afford to have more than one or two promising youngsters in your regular starting lineups. The league table never lies and we don’t deserve to stay up. Does anybody think we’re unlucky to be in this situation?

Playing negative football with no ambition to score. Far too slow and predictable.
