All season ticket seats have been sold whether the occupier is there or not. I didn’t see many empty seats yesterday. There were one or two near me but they were regulars who were missing.

I’ve got one fence post that’s come loose but luckily the shed has stopped it going to far. I thought the posts would have been secure but this one has broken its concrete spur. Just snapped it clean through.

I remember the winter of ‘63. At my school we played hockey, football and cricket in the three terms. In the middle term we didn’t play any football at all and there were piles of ice on the pavements and by the road. We lived near Harwich and large areas of the sea froze. It was a bit different when we moved to Enfield and our temporary classrooms were so cold that the ink froze in the inkwells.
