  1. I saw the ball jump up off something in the second half just as one of our defenders was about to kick it.
  2. Briefly, but Ian Wright thought it was a mistake and should have been given and that VAR was there to correct such errors. He was muttering on about it for some time.
  3. Ooh lovely. A bidding war 🥳
  4. This is very true. I was pleased to see that couple who used to sit there behind me have now moved across to where I am sat now. They were equally annoyed at the way that they had been treated. Many others have not returned.
  5. It always used to be said that once you gave up your season ticket you never bought another one.
  6. Kante has a hamstring injury and is out for a month.
  7. Fair point 🙇
  8. Why am I not on that list?
  9. Some of the Man U fans joined in with the applause too once they’d cottoned on.
  10. You obviously haven’t thought this through
  11. When did ‘greenlit’ replace ‘approved’?
  12. Just the two. MSC Virtuosa and Iona, berths 102 and 46.
  13. Nice home draw. Shame that I shall be away for this one.
  14. Each way?
  15. The draw for the third round is tonight just after the Tranmere Newcastle game. We are ball number 24. Ties will take place during week commencing 7th November. https://www.efl.com/news/2022/august/carabao-cup-round-three-draw/
  16. Yep. Londoln Colney, just on the south side of the M25. Not ideal from Birmingham.

I think it was more likely to have been a faulty ejector seat.
  18. The pitch size is 110 x75 yards, ours is 112 x 74. Ah, that would explain it. When I saw a match there in 1971 the was nothing behind the southern goal except a load of allotments and the ball kept getting kicked over the fence into them. I counted more than twenty occasions.

On a diesel? (No, I don’t know either)
  20. He was good tonight. played mostly wide on the left. It would be asking a lot for him to set up the goals and score them himself. We had a nightmare journey back. Road closures and restrictions everywhere. The A101(M) and the M3 south of Winchester were both closed and there were lane restrictions round the M25. Signs said the M3 and parts of the M25 nearby were also closed. We finally got back to Chandlers Ford at five past one.
  21. Nope, afraid not. The bias is all on your side.
  22. And will not contribute to increased CO2 levels.
  23. There were some initial complaints that the lifts were insufficient. She’s a bit big for us with a capacity of but having said that we have effectively jumped ships to Princess and are sailing next on Sky Princess whose capacity is slightly more. When we sailed on her across to Fort Lauderdale last November there were only 1300 on board, 250 of whom were British. It was wonderful.
