Absolute nonsense. They won’t play next week because it’s a winter break so they’re jetting off to Saudi Arabia instead.
-
Good news.

I thought that the new tickets were barcode only so in case this ever happened to me I did an experiment and made printed copy of them. They didn’t work though and it’s possible that they are NFC cards.

Covid status checking is still in place at St. Mary’s according to the emails I received today.

Very quiet everywhere.

At my age you have your priorities.

Quite understandable. The problem with all this testing is that you can’t get excited about going or look forward to the trip until you’re actually there. We’ve just come back from a two week trip to Barbados which involved a one week cruise. We each had five separate tests. A PCR to get into Barbados, a PCR two days before the cruise, an LF just before boarding, an LF on disembarking, another PCR on landing at Heathrow. I took a gamble by going to the Tottenham game but I wore a mask all the way through it.

Well that’s not true. I’m guessing that you haven’t been to the other 95%. -

No secure energy supplies, rocketing inflation, can't sell anything into Europe, trapped in an overcrowded island... -
He's fine as long as he's not called upon to play.

Never trust a Tory. -
Yeah, ridiculous waste of time and money. Turning it back should just be a case of putting a red X over the hard shoulder.

“The Sporting Event (Control of Alcohol etc) Act 1985 created a number of offences relating to alcohol at football matches. The act also prohibited fireworks at games. Offences in connection with alcohol on trains and coaches The act creates a number of offences in connection with alcohol being transported to and from football matches. Anyone who has alcohol in their possession whilst travelling on a coach or train that is principally being used to take people to or from a match is guilty of an offence. There are provisions relating to the operators and also those who hire vehicles. It is also an offence to be drunk on such a vehicle whether or not the person is in possession of alcohol. These provisions also apply to minibuses in certain circumstances.”

Sometimes I think they get sent off on purpose.

I put ‘holiday’ in quotes for a reason. At the time I needed help there was no promise that any emails would be answered. I shall try again shortly. I need to transfer a registration for WEEE sales. -

I don’t expect them to occupy their offices but I would expect letters to be answered and I would definitely expect them to answer their phones. They may have got tired of their ‘holiday’ and are back to running some sort of service by now. The reduced hours business is ridiculous. -

Have you tried contacting the Environment Agency? "Our office is closed so don't bother writing, we are not answering any phones so don't call us. You can email us if you like and we might get round to answering some time but we can't guarantee anything" (I paraphrase) Or the HMRC helpline. "We are all working from home so we are operating on rdeuced hours of 10:00 to 16:00". Eh? How does that work out then? -
Flippin' 'ell that went on a bit. How to flog something beyond the point when your audience have fallen asleep. He could have made his points in forty seconds.
-
Oh dear. Mine were in my account waiting for me. They were in something called 'reserved' or suchlike.
-
They should have been reserved for you unless you normally sit in blocks 40-42 or in the red zone around the tunnel. General sale is not until next Wednesday 26th.

Still being here has nothing to do with Johnson. -

I never realised that Johnson was handing out all that money himself. -
If you’ve already done a form you don’t need to do it again. As you say, unlikely to be enforced. I bought our two tickets today. £10 each plus £1.50 each handling fee, which was annoying.

Doesn't matter. He's in charge and he carries the can. He ought to have known. If he did then he has lied to Parliament. If he didn't then what's he doing there? -
I just did 32 minutes. Surely I'm more worthy?
