He lied to Parliament which is a Cardinal Sin. Lying to the public counts for nothing at Westminster. -

I wouldn’t try the no. 10/11 defence. The garden is common to both and his official residence is number 10. -
Ta. My wife insisted on watching that programme about Andrew and Ghislaine last night but to be honest there was nothing definitive.

Fair enough, but please don’t include me in those that did. I gave up voting for that load of arseholes years ago. To my eternal shame I used to vote for them but I haven’t done so for years. -
Very true. But was Epstein a convicted sex offender at the time that he was hanging around? Guilty by association.

I certainly did not. What makes you say that I did? I was responding to something that he said in his rant. I can’t remember now and I really don’t want to sit through it again. -
It does, but that is not a good thing and it is not mandatory. In my experience most football supporters have been decent, generous people but unfortunately the sport does attract some extremists.

That’s also a possibility. It may be that what I have suggested is just a plausible excuse.

Didn’t that take such action so that he could defend himself more equitably?

Good behaviour is the very definition of a sport. What you are describing is yob behaviour.

Nobody voted for Cummings. -
It was the behaviour of their fans that I didn't like. What goes on at the upper levels is a different matter.

Quite right. With any organisation you can easily tell if the Captain runs a tight ship. In this case it seems that every Friday everyone was getting tight. -
Nope. Not me. I did not like the way that I was treated.

It’s getting ridiculous now. If they can put off games for a month they might as well wait until the end of the season and then play all the games at once.
-
Doesn’t this count as “unable to fulfil their fixtures “?
-
If managers of that calibre can’t do anything for them then maybe they are beyond help.
-
Doesn’t the new ownership mean that there is not the same pressure to sell?
-
Of course it was. It was English:)

Me too. I have a memory like an elephant and the physique to match. We had to stand there and take their taunts and insults when all we wanted to do was get on the coach and go home.

Yes, the international break is from 24-Jan until 2-Feb. ”However, FIFA have confirmed that, as long as clubs release called-up players, they will not stop the Premier League arranging games during this period. ”

VAR is not supposed to re-referee the game yet that is what is happening. These ‘soft’ penalties are distorting the balance of the game. It’s much easier to try to win a penalty than it is to score a goal so attackers play to make the defender try win the ball or they hammer the ball towards the arms.
