The United Kingdom and the Death of Boris Johnson as we know it.
Whitey Grandad replied to CB Fry's topic in The Lounge
"no-one should lose their livelihood" That worked well, didn't it. Countless businesses have folded or are up to their ears in debt because of the restrictions. -
Anything acid works. Orange juice, vinegar apparently.

Then we just need to do a few thousand tests per player

How often did you watch at home?
-
What's that got to do with anything? Once or twice. Away games are an irrelevance and only give money to the other teams. Home season tickets are where the support is.
-
Perhaps now they can concentrate on the league.
-
I’m not familiar with that game at the moment as I’m miles away on a weak internet link.
-
No, just referees that are officiating under the same conditions. This has been my problem all along with VAR. The same interpretation and application of The Laws should apply at all levels of the game.
-
Assistant Referees (Linesmen) in the Premier League have been trained not to put their flag up if they are in any doubt about offside because VAR will check and overrule if necessary. Such ARs might then behave the same way if officiating at a non-VAR stadium.
-
It’s not the Laws that are different. It’s the application of them.

Isn’t there a comma missing? ’Crack, the secrets of high performance’

You obviously don't know what plastic support is. Being there and paying for it is the cornerstone of professional football.
-
Don’t put words into my mouth. Of course we were all pleased with that result, but the rest of the season at home was crap and personally I would not sacrifice a season for one game. You may feel differently, especially if you haven’t forked out well over a thousand quid for a season ticket. Or did you?

Respect is due to an old lady whatever her name or occupation.

Have a look at the figures for London.

Godwin’s Law?

Their country, their tournament, their rules.

It doesn’t stop the spread completely but it reduces it a lot. What about the other 1%? Or are they disposable to you?
-
You misunderstand as usual. We didn’t have the vaccine in order to protect us from the selfish unvaccinated. It’s the unvaccinated that are spreading the virus despite what you read.

How do you know he’s healthy? Besides, there’s a matter here of the greater good for all Australians and if it sends out a message then they may think it’s worthwhile. Their choice. It’s only a tennis player. There are plenty of others to take his place.
-
I have thought about it. Have you? They can’t have one rule for the self-opinionated elite and one for everybody else.
-
I know what I am. And I know what you are.

What good are away wins for season ticket holders? Don’t be such an arse, that’s not your usual style. Life is never one extreme or the other but in Puel’s case the football that he served up at home was the worst I’ve ever had the misfortune to have to sit through and that goes way back to Chris Nichol. ”Outplayed Inter in the San Siro”? We lost FFS and were luck to get nil.

It clearly is about health.

Ball went for the money. He said at the time that it would set him and his family up for life.
