  1. In that case the previous 52 laps are what counted. How can you wipeout an 11 seconds lead and then call it a fair race? Those 11 seconds were bought by not changing tyres. It smells very dodgy to me.
  2. But how can it be a race if the previous 57 laps are scrapped and the two leading cars are forced to start again alongside each other?
  3. Something not right there.
  4. Or since Spanish Flu mutated to something less virulent. Yes, about one century ago. It’s the way that all viruses mutate. If true that it’s milder then it is indeed good news and perhaps we should be encouraging the spread of it rather than imposing restrictions?
  5. I’m pissed and it’s not even against my team
  6. The game has become a joke. They’ll be giving out penalties with Christmas Crackers soon. Man City couldn’t get themselves a goal so they cheat by aiming at the defenders’ arms instead. I hate what this game has turned into.
  7. But pro-vaxxers will live longer than anti-vaxxers on the whole.
  8. We are still some way off herd immunity. The problem is that the more infectious the virus the higher the proportion of the population that need to be protected in order for the numbers to start falling off. We don’t know yet how much of a threat it is but if it is more infectious with less serious effects then it’s good news.
  9. As I recall they wanted too much for him, something like a million pounds.
  10. My deepest condolences Winnersaint.
  11. Neither of them look very healthy to me.
  12. I don’t think can be arsed about your arse. It’s your role in the prolongation of this pandemic, if you are indeed unvaccinated. If you aren’t then good for you. The messages about obesity are everywhere but we tend not to notice things that don’t apply to us personally and there’s not a lot we can do about getting old but what’s the alternative? Vaccine passports are intended to encourage/bully people to get jabbed.
  13. Here are a few references. https://abcnews.go.com/US/vast-majority-icu-patients-covid-19-unvaccinated-abc/story?id=79128401 https://www.nuh.nhs.uk/latest-news/warning-on-importance-of-vaccine-as-number-of-unvaccinated-patients-in-intensive-care-increases-5550 https://www.theguardian.com/world/2021/nov/23/covid-patients-in-icu-now-almost-all-unvaccinated-says-oxford-scientist https://northeastlondonccg.nhs.uk/news/almost-90-of-patients-admitted-to-intensive-care-units-in-north-east-london-are-not-fully-vaccinated/ https://windsorstar.com/news/local-news/majority-of-recent-covid-icu-patients-unvaccinated
  14. Not a written source that I can quote at the moment I’m afraid but you’re welcome to search for one. My information comes from two or three verbal sources on reputable news channels a week ago. I’ll have a flick around later.
  15. Regarding ICU beds, some 30% are occupied by Covid patients of whom 90% are unvaccinated. Once you are admitted to ICU your chances of coming out alive are 50/50.
  16. What 'information' was that, we wonder?
  17. If you want to reduce the spread then it is far from pointless,
  18. The gullible are thos who fear the vaccine.
  19. It's not as simple as that, nothing is ever that binary. It works in that it reduces significantly the chance of catching, spreading or suffering from the virus. Did you really expect 100% protection?
  20. I think you have summed the wrong column there. 34,474 unjabbed deaths in total over the whole period against 4,479 double jabbed. Of those who died were doubly jabbed the over 80s were consistently more than the under 80s.
  21. Blimey! That takes a special skill to find a vein up there. It's an intramuscular injection normally given in the upper arm. My wife reacts to any inection and after each of her first two AZ ones whe felt a bit unusual for a couple of days but her third was a Pfizer and she had no reaction to that whatsoever. Good luck with whatever you choose.
  22. And there I have you. I work with only one other person, and he is unvaccinated. So I am extremely unlikely to sit next to a person who is vaccinated and who has Covid. Of the fifty thousand who are testing positive each day how many are unvaccinated? You need to consider the numbers and the percentages.
  23. Any injection has a risk of blood clots. In fact, not having an injection carries a risk of blood clots.
  24. That’s not true.
  25. He is more effective than either when they are injured.
