Yep. He seemed confused as though he didn’t know what to do.
-
Er... no he wasn’t. He got constantly caught in the wrong position and opposition teams would just wall-pass their way passed him. He had a flaky start at Villa too but fair play to him for improving his game. Sometimes a move is the best thing for both club and player.

Pay more peanuts you get bigger apes.

We played like a team of strangers. Thank took that season’s over. Plenty of time now for a good long think about the next one.

New goalkeeper please.
-
There’s not a lot they can do if they can’t trust the keeper.
-
I’ve just seen the first half ‘highlights’. That shot bounced twice before it got to McCarthy. Forster for the second half please.
-
Ralph who?
-
How much longer does McCarthy have on his contract?if the idea was to put him in the shop window he is now shop-soiled goods.

First priority in my view.

Have a 👏 from me. I can’t add any more reactions today for some unknown reason. Perhaps I’m too reactionary.

I was pleased for Swansea. When I went to our game there a couple of years ago I was impressed by the dignity in defeat of the fans that I met. They were gracious and congratulated me on our win.

Stadium Upgrades - Block 31 Kingsland..
Whitey Grandad replied to miserableoldgit's topic in The Saints
It’s going to need some serious thought by me. I don’t like being too far off centre so a pair of seats at the same altitude but not too far away might be a possibility but I know then that every time I look across and see some plastic in a suit sitting in a seat that I have had ever since it was first installed is going to piss me off bigtime. The other question is where all those who current sit in block 31 are going to move to. I can’t imagine that many will pay this extortionate price hike. The new seats can’t be any wider as we have all had a letter stating that “as a current Season Ticket holder, a seat will be reserved in the same location as your previous general admission seat”. Yet the letter also states “we truly believe it will offer a better and more comfortable experience”. The letter is signed by Mr. Anthony Cole-Johnson who obviously doesn’t have a clue about what makes a football supporter yet his title is apparently “Director of Sales and Stadium Experience “ -
The Sunday Times says that they need a point for Europe.

I fail to see how pricing me out of a seat I’ve had ever since it was installed counts as an upgrade. Perhaps they think that getting rid of all us old gits is an upgrade. -

At that price I wouldn’t need a padded seat, I’d need a padded jacket! -

They’ll soon find out about market price sensitivity. -

The only improved experience I’m concerned about is winning more games. There’s a group of us around me that used to sit together in the upper east stand at The Dell. I might give a couple of them a ring and see what they think about it. I can’t see may of us bothering. The thought of paying £105 a game doesn’t appeal to me in the slightest and don’t forget that we’re bound to miss a few games for all sorts of reasons. What the hell were they thinking? Who the hell are these aimed at? -
I think the gift of a penalty was the main reason. Ridiculous decision.

We have two seats in block 31 but I haven’t had a letter yet. What annoys me even more is that I took up the choice of leaving my money on account for next year. This seems to me to be misrepresentation. I’m not going to pay 50% more for these seats and I can’t think of anybody who will. What alternative will they offer us if we decline? The best thing would be for all those who currently occupy these seats to refuse to renew. -
I know what you mean, I had just about settled for a goalless draw.

You must be thinking of 'swing-balls'

The line up on Sky last night named five games plus 'three others' which leaves two not on Sky. We were not one of the five named but as others have very kindly given the Sky channel on here I can assume that we must be one of the 'also rans'.
