  1. No. Some might, but nowhere near as many would if they were not vaccinated. That’s the whole idea.
  2. Tomáš Pekhart came on as a substitute for Legia and the commentator said that he spent four years at Tottenham but also came to Saints on loan. He made tenappearances for us and scored a home goal against Ipswich. I don’t remember him at all.
  3. M27 and M3 services now both out of fuel. Our local Shell is shut as is Tesco at Bursledon. Asda Chandlers Ford had both diesel and petrol with a £30 limit yesterday but no limit today.
  4. Or look at the UK and see how vaccines have brought the spread under control.
  5. So because no garage ran dry in your town there's no need to panic? Well bully for you. I see a pattern developing here. You've made a shedload of money out of the pandemic/Brexit/whatever so what on earth is anybody complaing about? Well I can tell you Sunny Jim, Most garages in Southampton and the surrounding area are completely empty. But there's no need to panic, none whatsoever.
  6. I think you're supporting the wrong club.
  7. But at full risk of passing it on to others. These are very expensive assets who are making themselves unavailable for work.
  8. The predictions were right, weren’t they? Self-fulfilling prophecies of course.
  9. It’s more than 0.4% around me. The services on the M27 between J4-J3 had run out today.
  10. N’Golo Kanté will miss this one having tested positive for Covid.
  11. It doesn’t work like that.
  12. Bednarek could have killed that attack by attacking the ball and not the player. All he had to do was head it back upfield. Instead he went upfield to get tight on Jimenez and the ball sailed over his head by which time he was on the turn and bound to get out-muscled. There's an old saying about centre halves which goes "Dont' let the ball touch the ground.
  13. Strangely enough I quite like the thought of that.
  14. These medium and long term approaches are all very noble but they don't help us in the short term.
  15. Made even worse if the opposition score first and can just sit back and defend.
  16. It sold its soul to the TV companies.
  17. Personally I though that Bednarek was fouled but there again there were plenty of other incidents that I thought were fouls too.
  18. Isn’t that the referee in the foreground with a clear view of it?
  19. The money was never there. Don’t believe all that you read about transfer fees. We’ve been through all this before.
  20. You have no evidence of this.
  21. Bednarek gets sucked towards Jimenez and underruns the ball. Had he just watched the ball and concentrated on getting his head to,it he would have been unopposed.
  22. We also lost this same fixture last season 1-2. Over these same six fixtures we lost five of them and only got the one point at home to West Ham, 0-0. So far we have four points so we are three points ahead in comparison. Yet we do seem to be heading in the wrong direction.
  23. The country is being run by people who thought that Brexit was a good idea. No wonder we’re in such a mess.
  24. Not his fault we lost.
  25. Yep. I don’t blame him for their goal though. We had plenty of chances to get the ball away. There is a long article on him in The Times this morning. I don’t know why that should be.
