The line up on Sky last night named five games plus 'three others' which leaves two not on Sky. We were not one of the five named but as others have very kindly given the Sky channel on here I can assume that we must be one of the 'also rans'. The terminals are associated with individual airlines and shuffling the aircraft around the airport is not straightforward. There is also the question of airline staff having to operate at different terminals.

There’s a good reason for that.

It was a real pleasure to be able to watch a game instead of the heavily processed version we get on the TV. I could see the whole pitch, I could see the runs of players who weren’t on the ball whether they were attacking or defending, I could see what options the defenders had and I could see the reasons why they might not release the ball quickly. The crowd seemed very sparse though and it didn’t help to create much atmosphere.

If the increase in positives is amongst the unvaccinated then why the concern?

How many of these infections are people who came in from India? Increased vaccinations will not reduce cases in those areas that have not been vaccinated. The devil is in the detail, which we don't have.

Surely you have to also consider the number of tests that produce these positive results? The number of cases (positives) is not the total number in the population as a whole but only a sample of it. We need to consider all the factors such as the ending of Ramadan.

I look at it as 'we're safe, good chance to try out other players and systems'.
