Agreed. It will be a tight decision as to whether I renew our two. Having been priced out of our traditional seats these two mean nothing to us. Most of the fellow supporters that I sat near have given up their seats and there are always a few games that I can’t get to. Maybe a membership with the occasional purchase makes more sense.

I had a guided tour of Hamble Oil Terminal many years ago. In the manager’s office there is an aerial photograph of the terminal which had been taken by the Luftwaffe complete with instructions that it was not to be bombed. The Germans wanted to use it as a source of fuel if they ever invaded.

There’s a tank of unleaded about 50 metres from my desk. Despite the moat the people at the terminal tell me not to bother trying to get away if anything goes up.

No league games between November 14th and Boxing Day when the league will resume. The season starts on 6th August and ends on 28th May. So nothing worth watching through half on November and most of December.

The agents usually get paid by both parties unless otherwise agreed.

But each break for subs will be longer. Why can't they provide for multiple changes at the same time? I have an idea, instead of led boards how about printed cards with numbers on? Then the fourth official could hold up two or three at the same time. With the added benefit that we could actually read them in sunlight.

Where I join the M27 at junction 5 the blanket 60 mph limit (why?) suddenly drops to 50 at the point where the joining lane ends. This causes bunching and makes it more dangerous for the joining traffic to filter in.
