Control in the sense that we can (now could) prevent the accession of any new member that we didn't like amongst many other things. No, article 50 is just a resignation. A walk away from the decisions and slamming the door behind us. A bit like suicide in terms of vetos.

Saints beat Sparta 3-0: Post-Match Ecstasy

Yes, a harsh decision and it's difficult to see what the defender should have done to avoid it. Perhaps not flying in with an unnecessary last-ditch sliding block? -

Southern Railway could not reasonably be described as a local service. We are on the western edge of their coverage. It is also worth mentioning that their fares can be very reasonable and for those on a limited budget or who are no longer able to drive they do provide an opportunity to attend our games. They are in the middle of a long-term industrial dispute at the moment which makes their operations even more flaky. -

Romeu was sold down river by some of our passes to him. I know there are some players who would have coped with it but to give him the ball when he's surrounded by opposition is just asking for trouble. -

'Kamikaze' when it isn't safe? -
Virgil did what a captain should. Made a decision and sorted the situation.

I don't care who takes them just as long as they score them.

Way before your time, I'm guessing. 10/10 too although some were not particularly lifelike. Stanley Matthews one was interesting. It was only the profile of his face that gave it to me.

Something had been 'going on' in the away end but the steward in the north car park wouldn't say what. The PA in the Kingsland was crap as usual. Were they speaking in Czech all evening? -

I have no idea either except for the yellow assistant behind the goal line who gestured to one of their players by lifting his folded left arm to indicate that there was a gesture towards the ball, or that the arm was not in a natural position. I guess that someone had asked him what it was given for but this does not necessarily mean that the decision had come from him. The ref had given a corner initially. I thought he had a very good game. -
We lose our veto. That is total control.

Only a 10% chance of rain according to the Met Office so only about 2,600 of us are going to get wet http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/public/weather/forecast/gcp187503#?fcTime=1473897600

In The Times this morning Virgil has it all under control. There are only two things we need to do: “We have been dominating games. You see the games against Arsenal and Manchester United, both away, and we have never felt so comfortable playing there, keeping possession and creating chances. We just need two things — to score a goal and stop conceding goals because that is also a bit of a problem at the moment.”

Do you really expect me to have to remember all your stuff as well as my own?

Europa League 2016/2017 (Died 8/12/2016)

Thanks, that's more or less what I thought. I supose they would need to 'sell' all 5000 before Inter can print them. I only asked because I shall not be home to receive the special delivery before the match which makes things very complicated. -
There you go again. You're repeating the same tactic that you always use. Perhaps you have forgotten why you voted

Theresa May was in charge of immigration controls at the time. The Home Office won't play ball and do what they are told. Do you really believe that there wil be any difference once we have left? There have been just as many coming from the rest of the world as from the EU. We had total control over them and a fat lot of good it did us. Do you think that suddenly all the EU nationals will stop coming leaving only the others?

Good. Might even get down to ST with no aways Can anybody who has received a ticket please confirm how these were delivered? I thought that I had read somewhere that they would only be sent by recorded delivery to the address of the ST holder. -
This is another feeble Brexit contention. Inside the EU we had infinitely more control over its future than we do now. (I use 'infinitely because now we have zero influence whereas before we had control so anything is infinitely more than zero)

0.9 is 10% less than 1.0 You have to be very careful when using percentage changes to be specific about what the change refers to. For example, a fall of 50% followed by a rise of 50% doesn't get you back to where you started. You may not be exporting but your raw materials and energy costs will rise if they are imported
-
Nice try There are far more companies in Britain than there are in the FTSE 100 or even 200. And to answer the question, 1.1 x 0.9 is 0.99, that's the trouble with percentages

Possible Additional 4K ticket for inter milan
Whitey Grandad replied to wild-saint's topic in The Saints
I can't see it myself. Why not just release them officially through Saints? Selling them direct themselves is asking for all sorts of repercussions. Having said that, bring it on -
Ay, there's the rub. Not gonna happen.

But what counts a a home fan? Forza Inter la beneamata! (Just learn this song and you'll be fine ) -
Nothing bizarre about it. All British companies and assets are now worth less than they were before, as is the British economy. There is no chance that we shall have any significnat trade deals with anybody before the EU does. These other countries will want to settle the EU deals before they get round to us. The EU market is ten times the size of ours and if they were to settle with us first that would prejudice their EU discussions.. Regarding limboland I was referring to our political clout which is now non-existent. We cannot vote nor have any influence on what the EU does from now on. Legally we could try but in practice that would seriously mess up any future negotiations we might have with them.
