  1. I'm with you on this. Nowadays you've got half a dozen attackers wandering around the opposition area waiting for a second phase or something.
  2. You can't judge a push on TV. Maybe the defender knew that he wasn't getting there and 'pretended' to receive a push. He's a big man and seemed to fly through the air easily. As I say, you can't tell on TV.
  3. We disagree on many aspects but I'm totally with you here, Wes.
  4. Wasn't there something about his attitude in training on a Friday a couple of weeks ago and that is why he was left out for the weekend?
  5. But if the offence of offside doesn't occur until the player becomes active, could it be that this could happen after he has run back into his own half and that they are saying that this is where the free kick could be taken?
  6. True, I suppose that is possible. Possibly.
  7. Was he in the 'lap of appreciation '. I can't say that I noticed him.
  8. Er... Correction. The government doesn't have any money of its own, it's our money that it spends on our behalf.
  9. The Times today said that it would cost MU about £3m.
  10. Developers need cement too. Just saying...
  11. Very good I'm afraid I missed that the first time I skimmed over it.
  12. I can't imagine that has ever happened. At the moment you can't score an own goal from a direct free kick and you can't score any goal direct from a dropped ball. They also state that a referee cannot 'manufature' a dropped ball, whatever that means. I am struggling to understand this comment: • Offside FK is always taken where the offside offence occurs (even in own half)
  13. Of course it's their fault.
  14. Sometimes the only difference between a risk worth taking and a sound business investment is hindsight.
  15. Away to the Midgets and Bournemouth were my two low points. Both very disappointing, we just didn't turn up.
  16. I counted seven at the back for them most of the game. Plus the keeper.
  17. In yesterday's paper they said that they (Man City) did.
  18. I think I want Bournemouth, Sevilla and Palace to win, in that order.
  19. I think you have, the two are separate. Refunding money for a game that didn't take place is the first step and many of these people will not be able to make the rearranged match. They will not be out of pocket, apart from the travel. They could have then charged for the new game but have decided to let the fans in for free, which is to be commended.
  20. It all reminds me of those episodes a few years ago when the floodlight failures were caused by betting syndicates. Strange things happen when large amounts of money get involved. It all depends on whether you favour cock-up theories or conspiracies.
  21. He'll need one anyway for our European tour
  22. Not if its an honest attempt. Still a red card for handball, shirt tugging and so on. Nevertheless a positive move. Laws come into force in time for the Euros, I believe. Most of them are minor but not being allowed to dummy during a penalty run-up is a significant change.
  23. I voted for Cuco because I honestly think it's the best goal. Honest I do.
