  1. Having to live in Liverpool?
  2. I imagine something like this. The uniforms are the right colour.
  3. That has nothing to drink with red tape and does not hamper business in any way. I am still waiting for some examples of all this supposed red tape. I see it this way: whatever your view of the EU, whatever your prejudices, whatever mantra you repeat there are only two questions that matter. What do we get out of it? Is it worth what it costs? In my view the benefits outweigh the costs by a large margin.
  4. It worked for Chelsea.
  5. Now all the talk about gardening leave starts to make sense. The gardening plot thickens.
  6. Maybe they made him an offer he could only refuse?
  7. I keep asking the question but I never get an answer. What is this red tape of which you speak? Please can I have a frinstance.
  8. Nice to read. I see that Sadio's English has improved
  9. #repeatuntilfinalwhistle
  10. The Commonwealth moved on from us some time ago. Australia is now buying submarines from France. It's a big wide world out there and by far the easiest and most efficient market is the one right in our doorstep. What exactly is it about the EU's trade deals that you think is lacking? How about an example, maybe something that we could be doing outside the EU that we aren't doing now. If we could be selling, we would.
  11. There's nothing to stop him, that's part of the reason for the compensation.
  12. I remember that testimonial too. Weren't we kep in for an hour afterwards? Dave Beasant was trying to entertain us by telling stories. He didn't do too bad a job.
  13. Abysmal productivity is our big problem. Our trade with the EU cannot possibly get easier than it is at present if we leave, and when trading with the rest of the world we would be competing with the EU who have a much bigger clout than us.
  14. It's getting to be a must-win.
  15. They changed the mindset of the players. They went from 'we're doing ok, we just need to carry on doing the same' to 'we're going to try and shut them out and hold on for the win'. It leads to players dropping back towards their own goal. The substitutions had the opposite effect on the Russians.
  16. Oops. You could see it coming. We sat back and invited it.
  17. Comical perhaps, but he doesn't make me laugh.
  18. Sterling gives the ball away again. We're bring on James Milner. Hmm.
  19. Sterling is poor. All he can do is run at them and then let the ball bounce off them.
  20. Why, to take the corners?
  21. And Kane is crap at taking corners.
  22. What an awful game.
  23. It isn't. It's almost exactly the same rate.
  24. Maybe I am, or maybe they just didn't impress me much? (I bet you had to look up their list of achievements )
  25. Wes, you cannot be serious when you say that you believe that Britain would be stronger outside the EU, no matter what you might think about it as an institution. Whatever is holding us back has nothing to do with the EU.
