  1. True, but I was wondering about the relaxation in the FFP rules.
  2. Was he that good?

  4. Something in the paper this morning (or yesterday) about this. Apparently Europa League counts the same as Champions League as far as coefficients are concerned.
  5. According to our friend in Denmark the campaign has affected their domestic form. They are third in the league at the moment.
  6. This one? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Graham_Potter Yes, it would appear so. Played in the PL 8 times under Souness apparently: http://www.skysports.com/football/news/11731/10096235/who-is-graham-potter-llittle-known-english-manager-linked-with-swansea-job
  7. There was an interesting comment from Martin Samuel in The Mail a few days ago: 'Southampton were victims of financial fair play — the owners thought the rules would prevent them supplementing a strong existing squad, and sold instead. As a result, they could not sustain their challenge. Leicester have hit the front at a time when the new Premier League television deal, and the watered-down FFP regulations, give them more of a chance.' Does anyone know what all this is about? 8. Can I be greedy and ask for both?
  9. It didn't feel like that at the time.
  10. The Mail says that it's not clear how his case is being funded but does name some solicitors. Legal Aid for this type of case was stopped in 2013 apparently. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3355390/Rigby-family-fury-killer-sues-broken-teeth.html
  11. That is seriously good. Respekt
  12. They're even worse. They're the sort of people who go round battlefields stripping the bodies and ripping out gold teeth.
  13. That only encourages more 'vexacious' claims. Stop the legal aid is the correct answer, i.e. throw out the claim the moment it is lodged.
  14. “Now, here, you see, it takes all the running you can do, to keep in the same place. If you want to get somewhere else, you must run at least twice as fast as that!” ― Lewis Carroll, Alice Through the Looking Glass
  15. He should have been shot on the spot, it would have saved all this trouble. Only in America...
  16. We spent a couple of days in Oslo last year. It was very spooky having these Teslas creep up behind you when you weren't looking. They seemed to be everywhere.
  17. Light blues for me
  18. In the same game???
  19. Maybe, but they'll be attacking it from the other dircection.
  20. You're taking some time to get used to this upper Premier League/challenging in Europe business, aren't you?
  21. Oh, absolutely.
  22. The majority of the income is not from gate receipts, I thought. And don't forget that we have had rapid promotions over recent years so we have had to buy a Premier League team from nothing.
  23. Theory 2: They're really, really happy at the club and are doing their best not to get a transfer.
  24. Or the opposition's ball not getting into our net.
