Maybe, but are you prepared to take the risk? To my thinking there are no advantages in leaving and a whole mountain of disadvantages. Seen from a distance Britain leaving the EU is a pretty crazy idea.

Global warming really is happening... (well, duh!)

Yes, yes, we all knew that. It wasn't just CFCs either. You seem to think that the sceptics' knowledge is pitiful but perhaps they know much more than you think they do. -

On the whole I agree with you. There are a lot more factors than CO2 involved. -
You need proper advice, but if you have lived in the house as your main residence in the recent past this will help you considerably.

Are you joint tenants or tenants in common?

The money is not spent, it is loaned with interest to be paid.

If you are calling me a clown then please say so to my name. Abuse such as that does not belong on this forum.

Irrelevant. The requirements are for new members. Please keep up

That was a loan, not a grant. And Cameron will be gone within four years, if not sooner. Any one member can veto any new application. Any new member would have to adopt the Euro and in order to do that they would need to meet the fiscal requirements. Do you really think that Turkey will ever meet the necessary conditions if a country like ours never has!

An opinion can never be wrong.

They make all the right noises in public but in practice it won't happen. It's called politics.

We don't deserve any better than 8th, we're not a bad team and we can have the odd good moment but we don't score enough.

Why mention Turkey? There is no chance that they will join.

Japan has stagnated for decades.

Agreed, well said. -
I think the tension is getting to them. Who's to say that we wouldn't be playing the same way in their position?

My head hurts.

When changing clubs it can take some time to settle into a new training and fitness regime. I'm looking forward to seeing more of him next season.

My daughter took my seats. She said that Long had been sick on the pitch. Or so her neighbour had said.

Most of the ones I know are honest and pay every penny. You must have some strange mates. -

I'd like to follow this further but I'm on limited Internet access. There us definitely a feeling amongst the small business community that HMRC have been more aggressive and less accommodating lately. I know a plumber who had an agreed payment schedule with them that was cancelled 6 months later with an insistence of immediate payment the words being 'you earn more than me, you've got to pay'. The company folded with the loss of 12 jobs. I had a written agreement about private car usage percentage which had been in place for several years. They said 'just because it was agreed some time ago doesn't meant that it still stands. They changed their minds' retrospectively. And it's impossible to go back several years and produce records. They have been given targets to squeeze every drop they can even though they won't admit to it publicly. I don't know who you speak to but 'they would say that wouldn't they?' -

That is no longer true. Their attitude has changed significantly in the last couple of years and I can give you (privately) a couple of examples. I wouldn't want to attract any more attention. -

Not nothing but not all on something worthwhile. A hell of a lot is not used effectively and if we all paid more taxes then a lot of the Public Sector would just award themselves a pay rise. Have a look at the quangos and what their bosses get paid. Then tell me that it's 'useful'. And they're not the only ones. Do you think that we taxpayers get good value for money?
