Possible head injury. The referee can take no chances with that.
Maybe, just maybe, it wasn't a corner?
All I saw was Pellè flying backwards into their defenders.
Sturridge tried it once and was then warned off.
Yes, really. You must understand that they are not biased in the same way that you are. None of those decisions last night were anywhere near 'awful'. Find someone else to blame. Our defence for example.
Oh FFS, we're not going to start having a go at the officials again are we? They did nothing wrong last night and were not the reason that we let in six goals. Give it a rest.
'Shots on target' is meaningless unless you also analyse the nature and accuracy of this shots. That one of Ibe's last night was fast, low and just inside the foot of the post. I don't know of any goalkeeper who would have saved it.
Let's hope justice will be done. You can't go shooting a load of bullets through a door knowing that there's a person on the other side without having some desire to kill them. He has to take responsibility for his actions.
Oh, the game? I was trying to erase it.
Five of their goals came through our right side but we can't blame Maya tonight.
Sturridge was top class.
That Origi looked very good.
They all played to their system and everyone knew what they had to do.
Why can't our player shoot hard and low into the corners?
It's the cult of the manager. All you get on TV is continual shots of the bench even when there's a game going on. I even remember one game on BBC when they had a shot of a brick wall which was the side of a dugout and the commentary was along the lines of "...and in that dugout the manager will be deciding whether to make any changes...". FFS there's a game going on and we get shown a brick wall!
Incidentally, there is no mention of a manager or coach in The Laws of the Game except to say that they have to keep off the pitch and stick to their designated areas.
