  1. Yes indeed, I was thinking of the Arsenal game. http://www.nationalrail.co.uk/service_disruptions/84237.aspx http://www.nationalrail.co.uk/106437.aspx
  2. Don't believe everything you read in the press.
  3. There have been no trains on Boxing Day since the early 1960s so that's the problem solved
  4. That's annoying. No drinking for me on Boxing Day then. (and I do mean the day after Christmas)
  5. Do I get a refund for my season tickets and would they please tell me now which games were going to lose in case I can find something better to do please?
  6. Ok, thanks, my apologies for the misunderstanding.
  7. Has it ever occurred to you that perhaps they have a better and more balanced view of the world than the young? People buy papers for all sorts of reasons. I get them for the puzzles.
  8. Geriatrics have a vote too.
  9. The view depends on where you stand. Personally I take the whole lot with a big pinch of salt.
  10. That goes for all parties.
  11. I'm in a similar situation. We have two tickets at full price despite both being over 65 but if I buy tickets for the cup games then the pricing is based on the age of the people who are registered against the tickets.
  12. The world being south Hampshire, I presume?
  13. Mistake
  14. Far too soon for legendary comparisons, in my opinion.

It can get very crowded in the high season but you should be ok. I have always thought that if they filled in all the canals it would make life a lot easier for everybody You'll need this site: http://www.actv.it/en/movinginvenice/movinginvenice
  16. This one is also revealing:
  17. I'm afraid not. here is an extreme example: https://www.whitefieldtax.co.uk/web/fines-ever-tax-deductible/ 'It is generally accepted by advisers that if the purpose of a penalty or fine is to punish, then no tax relief is available.' However in José's case he could argue that it is a legitimate part of his business
  18. Fines are not an allowable tax expense.
  19. Ireland have been doing it since 2002 and the charge was increased in 2007.We were over there a couple of weeks ago and the larger purchases were packed into paper/cardboard bags. Much better.
  20. I'll buy ten. That's a start.
  21. I second that. From a management view I personally would be excited and impressed by someone who came to me with well-thought out proposals for improving and restructuring the organisation. It's your life and career and its up to you to steer it in the direction you wish to go. Good luck.
  22. Very interesting, thanks for that. I wonder how difficult it is to motivate players who have just won the title the previous season. Do they still have the same hunger?
  23. Least worst, more like it.
  24. The workers need caring for too.
