No, that seems to be the problem. I've tried all my English ones and also my French one on an account in Paris but they are all refused. The reservation is being held for 72 hours until I pay. The tickets will be print-at-home, if I ever get that far.

The times are fixed with only two options. I don't know what might change the 'as a rule' part. Don't forget that CET is one hour ahead of us so either 18:00 or 20:05. Sound advice. I too think you'd be mad to sell. When my daughter first got set up with her (now) husband they were renting and paying about the same as they would for a mortgage but house prices were rising every much by about the same amount again and much faster than any money they could save. Don't forget the money lost in legal fees, estate agents and any stamp duties every time you move.
