Yes please I might be in one of several bars, not that I'm supposed to drink much these days. -
Yes but whose head is it?

I have been critical of Targett and so I watched that booking incident carefully after the game. I feel that Targett should have been a couple of yards further to his right once it was clear that Lukaku was going to break clear down the wing. In fairness he was unlucky to get booked and give away a foul because he did get a slight touch on the ball before bringing Lukaku down. On the other hand it was very close to being a penalty. You're right, he needs more experience but whilst he's getting it we are dropping points. -
Comedy gold, or should that be comedy bronze? I still think that it shold have been recycled into hundreds of bronze miniatures. I would have loved to have on on my desk to cheer me up every time we lost 3-0 at home.

Quite right. I have played in defence in enough pub leagues to recognise defending like that first goal. I am not normally very vocal but I was shouting 'to him' 'to him' 'to him' 'oh FFS'.Even the commentator on MOTD said that Kone 'might have been closed down a bit sooner'. There may well have been mitigating circumstances due to illnesses but our basic positioning and shape was wrong. Still, it's only two games in and I'm sure Ron knows where the problems are. -

I remember an away game many years ago when we had been stuffed by seven goals. It might have been Liverpool but there were many others. On leaving the ground I heard a Saints father say to his lad "that's what it's all about son". We have to suffer the depths of despair in order to make the heights of success that much more enjoyable. It can't be any fun watching Man Utd or such like every week.

I don't think so but I'm not sure, if that helps We're not in the group stages yet, once that happens then players can get cup-tied.

Sometimes these illnesses can be deceptive, especially if it's a virus. You might feel ok but the muscles aren't up to full effectiveness and your brain is not as sharp. Was he also affected for the Newcastle game? He wasn't quite on the ball in that one either. -

The difference is that Everton didn't score any goals for us this year. -

I very much doubt that Turkish was making a serious suggestion. -

We certainly leave our soft belly exposed to counterpunches but what doesn't help is losing possession cheaply. Targett's bad pass for Newcastle's second and Maya getting his pocket picked yesterday were easily avoidable. On top of that we are not set up properly in case we do lose the ball and seem to get surprised by the counter-attack. -

A clean sheet is paramount. -
If Chelsea had been 1-0 up then his players would have been going down at every opportunity.
-
We could do with extra cover and experience in the left back position but Cole will be 35 in December. If he were cheap to run then he might well be worth considering but might well be considered over the hill.
-
My thoughts precisely. I wonder who it was all aimed at.
-
If he were still any good Swansea would still play him.

Yes, I thought they were strangely subdued, especially in the first half where it was obvious that our shape was wrong. There was no point in waiting until half time when we were two goals down.
-
Maybe, maybe not. The relevant section is article 42 'Player lists'. It appears that there is a limit of 25 players on List A so depending on who is on the list that we have submitted we may be able to add another. There are requirements for a minimum number of locally trained players and all sorts of others sh!t. You are welcome to try to make sense of this: http://www.uefa.com/MultimediaFiles/Download/Regulations/uefaorg/Regulations/02/23/69/59/2236959_DOWNLOAD.pdf
