  1. At current rates thats's not a lot over £10m so we're not very far away, if these reports are accurate.
  2. I use Google Chrome so it's a right-click and select 'translate to English' Mon 03 Aug 2015 05:45 Right Winger be successor to departed Jean-Paul Boëtius Feyenoord is for Elijah by Marcel van der Kraan Feyenoord's former Orange International Eljero Elia attract as direct replacement for Jean-Paul Boëtius. The tip, which last season when Ronald Koemans Southampton got another chance but could not stay, can leave at Werder Bremen. Elia also has a regal job offer from the Middle East, which is well above the salary of a Dutch club would rise. But which party will quit now Elijah to take the time to look at an offer from Feyenoord. Dead end The right winger is in his German employer at a dead end. That is also the reason why he last season was loaned to Southampton. The entire career of Elia can anyway do with a boost. There has been much criticism of his lifestyle and his behavior off the field. The footballer has some of those stories always tried to talk to, but the best way to silence his critics is a long time to perform well the mouth. Dirk Kuyt That chance Feyenoord wants to offer him, provided that he gives everything. Five years ago, Elijah came in the World Cup final still within the lines, replacing Dirk Kuyt. A reunion with the Katwijker, which indeed make the most of his career, Elijah could do much good.
  3. It may be that he is following his manager's instructions to the letter and that is why he gets picked.
  4. There were several empty seats behind me in the central Kingsland which I can only assume we're no-shows since these were prime positions.
  5. According to an article about Jay in The Mail today his speed has increased from 9.1 to 9.3 metres per second. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-3183174/Southampton-striker-Jay-Rodriguez-nearing-competitive-return-newly-wedded-star-vows-come-better-ever.html
  6. I think this is a make-or-break season for him. He needs to reward some of the faith that has been shown in him.
  7. Perhaps badly phrased. I was trying to take the same line that the modern politically correct use with regards to implicit racism, but with the roles reversed. A bit abstruse perhaps but not worth getting upset over.
  8. To be honest I tend to have your outlook on events too.
  9. A fair summary.
  10. I understood the rules to be that so long the player doesn't appear in the group stages then he could appear in the other league, but who knows?
  11. It seemed to me that he had an attack of the yips and had lost his belief that he was going to score. Once his first goal goes in then the rest will follow.
  12. I was referring to your response. You have have raised the question as to whether the racial characteristics of the victim and of the officer were significant. They may have been, but to raise the matter displays an unhealthy preoccupation with skin colour. (I am playing devil's advocate here)
  13. That could be regarded as a typically racist response.
  14. I had to go back to the turnstiles to get my two. Some were being handed out there, others inside. I think they had to go back for refills. Nice gesture though.
  15. Don't let UEFA hear that or we'll get kicked out of the competition.
  16. Lynsey Hipgrave. Out of your league, I'm afraid.
  17. I didn't realise that no bottles of any kind were allowed inside. My 11-year old grandson had his bottle of squash confiscated. But we were allowed to buy some Lucozade and some water inside. Mugged. Well, plastic cupped, actually.
  18. Hmm... 5000 arrivals at £10,000 a year support (say) is £50m. Each year.
  19. Nothing to complain about really. A clean sheet was paramount but 3 goals for is a very satisfying result. Shame about Clasie limping off, maybe he overstretched a bit. I've just got home and am watching the replay now
  20. It would make no difference. We are not in the Schengen area at the moment so all they would need to do is get to Calais and then do what they are doing now.
  21. Indeed.
  22. Are you sure that wasn't me in a skirt?
  23. I wish him well in the twilight of his career but I can't see him going to Spurs. They've only just got rid of Adebayor (almost).
