  1. Too much fancying about at the back. We need to be able to up the face suddenly and switch things around more. I can't remember the last time we tore a team apart with our movement. Sunderland maybe?
  2. At this rate almost everybody will overtake us.
  3. I just hope that all our bad games have come in one lump. It was the first away game we've lost in six, which by itself is very good. The problem (obviously) is the lack of scoring.
  4. What happened to Owen Gole? He was our top scorer?
  5. The other teams in contention all have bigger and better squads than us with a much wider range of striking options. I think we've blown it. Tuesday night should point the way.
  6. Ah well, it was fun whilst it lasted.
  7. ...and have you seen them since?
  8. They must have got this information from somewhere. I find that spooky and deeply disturbing, and I'm not even on Facebook.
  9. There are established regulations for this. I've never been bothered enough to look them up.
  10. I was there for that one and I've never forgiven him for it.
  11. Nope, only ever white and gold on my iPad 2 no matter how I look at it. I've just examined the pixels with a magnifier and it's definitely not blue and black. If you have a colour tint after looking at it then I suspect you gave very low ambient lighting. What you describe is an afterimage.
  12. You can see Cole mouthing "why me?"
  13. Some more colour illusions on here: http://brainden.com/color-illusions.htm And here: http://www.echalk.co.uk/amusements/OpticalIllusions/colourPerception/colourPerception.html
  14. Shame, we could do with a top-quality striker right now.
  15. I often wonder whether the failure of the 'big' English clubs in Europe is down to the use of truly neutral referees.
  16. No it doesn't and yes we do.
  17. For me, it never changes. Some pictures show white and gold and some blue and black, but that is just the photo and not the dress. I can see how colour correction can change its appearance but not how it can change whilst you're looking at it. I've spent enough time adjusting the colour balance on TV cameras and playing with Photoshop to know what can be achieved but for me any individual photo is only ever one thing.
  18. We've been doing that for weeks.
  19. Me too, maybe a hint of Ivory. http://colorvisiontesting.com/ishihara.htm
  20. Human perception is a strange beast. Colour blindness?
  21. More accurate than a census, particularly and out of date one. Anyway, the actual figures are not really important, only as a relative comparison perhaps.
  22. We can talk round the figures all day long but all that consequences are the results which are obvious to all of us.
  23. He made the character his own but was a very good actor. RIP Leonard, thanks for the memories.
  24. Something like that. http://www.express.co.uk/comment/columnists/leo-mckinstry/333097/Tories-fail-to-solve-immigration-crisis-that-blights-Britain http://cornerstone-group.org.uk/2008/02/25/how-many-people-live-in-britain-–-by-greg-hands-mp/ And from 2007: http://www.independent.co.uk/news/business/comment/city-eye-facts-on-a-plate-our-population-is-at-least-77-million-395428.html
