  1. That cannot be true, surely? I thought St Mary's was up there with the best.
  2. Sharing is all very well just as long as everybody is sharing. When some are just giving and others just taking then it becomes very unfair.
  3. I'm worried too. At least I've got one away so I'll be ahead of you. Everything depends on my reaction to my operation next Friday
  4. Bordeaux has a selection to Amsterdam and Rotterdam
  5. Believe it or not Easyjet have a direct flight from Toulouse to Amsterdam out on the Wednesday 08:05 and back on the Friday 09:30 for 190.92 Euros.
  6. I would have gone but the Kingsland is closed and I have lots of other stuff that needs sorting on a summer weekend.
  7. The subsequent post says CET so that would be 12 noon for us.
  8. Excellent, far too sensible and realistic for here It's when we're selling to clubs outside the top half dozen that we should be concerned.
  9. I meant to refer to home games. It's different now that we can sell our seats for games we can't make but previously the small discount was offset by the ones we missed. Several times there has been no priority for you regular seat for cup games. It's very rare that I can buy a seat for away games, these go to those who can go regularly away. I'm not complaining about this, but very often I can't get an away ticket. It would be straightforward to include a membership with a season ticket.
  10. Ah, I see what you mean. So that means a ST holder is no different from any other bod?
  11. I'm inclined to agree with you. I've forked out over £1400 for two tickets and if I want to take any of the rest of my family I'm supposed to shell out again.
  12. Sad indeed. Life is not fair.
  13. Thanks for the pics. Pics 3 & 6 are Graziano Pellè
  14. Leaking dykes are a more common emergency over there, I hear.
  15. Yes indeed, a very good commercial proposition, which is the main reason that Markus could be convinced to put in some money. I'm sure we could agree that the cost of doing this was much lower (Lowe-r?) than if we had been a going concern. My main point was intended to be about the situation regarding Morgan, in that at the time we went bust he was worth very little and any increase in the 6 years or so since then are hardly any credit to Lowe. No, as I understand it Lowe (and the club) got caught out by the sudden removal of an overdraft facility, something which has caught out many other companies. He was certainly a victim of unfortunate circumstances but I feel that with better stewardship we might have fared better. His vision was right even if his implementation wasn't.
  16. Yes, he put in that much but how much of went to paying off debts? The relevant question is how much the shareholders received.
  17. Sudoku? Crossword? Word Search?
  18. Yes, extremely unlikely as we have seen from events down the road, but there was no value in the club or the existing shareholders would have received their share of it. We were fortunate that our benefactor Markus was persuaded to invest his money and take over the mess but he was shouldering the debts and picking up the scraps. I maintain that under Lowe's stewardship the club's value had effectively shrunk to zero.
  19. Meh, should have flown straight to Eastleigh.
  20. Yes, we were a good proposition for someone who was prepared to inject some serious money, but the value of the club was at rock bottom. Any value in the assets was offset by the debts and liabilities, which can never be ignored.
  21. It would be quicker to teach an ant. Until there is a buyer there is little value in the company. Scrap gold, scrapped cars, they all have some value but this is not as much as a going concern. Now go and read this and learn something: http://www.begbies-traynorgroup.com/articles/director-advice/difference-between-company-administration-and-liquidation I have been patient with you beyond the call of duty. Now go and take your personal attacks and have a go at somebody else. You have got tedious beyond belief. Goodbye.
  22. This place maybe? http://www.nuffieldhealth.com/hospitals/wessex Just across the road from Kelvin
  23. Prutton, Wotton, Wot's the difference.
