  1. I hope mine are waiting for me when I get home tonight. I'm looking forward to the new season, my daughter has moved back to live with us and there are another three young Saints fans to join the swelling ranks.
  2. On the whole, women from the 70s and later tend to have undergone 'surgical enhancements', I prefer the natural look. When I get back to civilisation and a proper computer I'll try and post some before and after shots of famous totties. The delicious Denise is one of them. Unless we're talking about women in their 70s and 80s :letch:
  3. Quite so. Sometimes it doesn't pay to be too nice. Who was it who said 'nice guys don't win'?
  4. Oh dear. If only everything were that simple. 'Milk the club'? Yeah right, she's been putting millions in, maybe she didn't want to do that any more. Let's repeat what has been said before. Debt was converted into equity, taking lots if money out is not as straightforward as it was. There are some simplistic people around that are being very simple.
  5. Are those before or after her operation? That's the trouble with the 70s, they all been touched up or expanded in some shape or form.
  6. Now you know very well that I was talking about what he said when he got off the aeroplane at Croydon
  7. Yes he does. Maybe that's why he took it, the chance to build his own team?
  8. The TV deal helps to cover the players' wages. The figures you often see quoted are when you add up several years' payments.
  9. No point, a statement won't change anything, just ask Neville Chamberlain.
  10. Strop off to where? Liverpool?
  11. All three, to be honest.
  12. Well, maybe thereby hangs the root of the situation.
  13. Yes, this. Take the money and bank it before they find out what they've bought. There are plenty more where he came from.
  14. We don't always agree, but I'm with you on this 100%
  15. All possible but not necessary in order to sell the club. Actually it's illogical.
  16. Just possible suggestions... No control over expenditure, debts getting out of control... It could explain the current situation. Maybe she/they just want to get the club back on the straight and narrow?
  17. Oi! You leave me out of this! But at the time they weren't playing for Liverpool! Oh.
  18. It could just be that she and her advisors could see that we were heading for big trouble if we carried on doing things his way.
  19. I can't see those three being good enough for the Liverpool fans, they're going to expect a lot better than them.
  20. Yes, that must have been awkward for him, suddenly having to justify all his spending and decisions.
  21. Yes, I agree with you. Chambers doesn't doesn't make sense to me for either party
  22. I can't see what Liverpool would want in a crock that's not going to be fit until next year and might never be as good as he was again. They need somebody now, just as we do.
  23. I'm pleased to hear it, but we're talking about a bunch of blokes at work, not a social club.
  24. Yep. He's just a football player, there are plenty more where he came from.
  25. It depends on what happens to what's left of any net profit in player transfers. After tax and debt repayment there won't be much in the kitty. We still owe big lumps on previous transfers.
