There's no mystery here. The basic facts are that he was driving way too fast in a 50kph limit and that she was not wearing her seat belt. Anyway, why wasn't she at home with her kids?

We once had a roast beef dinner but the gravy had been made with instant coffee granules. Not nice.

I was involved with EBC at the time, although not on this project, but I took an interest in it. I think the car park started off at 6000 places and was then reduced to 3000, but my memory is not what it was. The present car traffic is dissipated over a large area which must be better than concentrating it all on a motorway junction. Can you imagine the queues on the motorway to get into the car park? There was a lot of opposition locally, filling up the strategic gap was a big concern, and Lowe was very keen on more than just a stadium. The Pirelli site in Eastleigh became available to the club, if they wanted it. But that was then and this is now. A large-scale redevelopment of the entire Itchen waterfront would be wonderful for the city.

Yes, just do what IKEA do and validate your parking ticket for you, or give you a ticket to let you out. 15 minutes is a nonsense.

Studies showed that it would take over one and a half hours to clear the (modest) car park.

The big question is... ...what was the third leg made of?

Drugs planted in couple's bag on Thai holiday

It's when they say 'did anybody put anything in your bag without your knowledge' that you just have to bite your lips. -

Yes, I meant after the event, once they were safely home. -

If they had any sense at all they'd have kept quiet about it. -
Also wrote a couple of famous songs. 'Smile' was a hit for Nat King Cole and 'This is my Song' by Petula Clark was #1 in the UK in 1967.

I'm pretty sure that I was. Don't really remember the semi-final though.

Advice on travelling through France please

Who's arguing? And we haven't even mentioned spare bulb kits yet. Hi-viz for all is required in Spain, as are two warning triangles. I like to carry a complete set or Europe. I stopped bothering with my headlamps over twenty years ago. As someone pointed out to me, the continentals don't bother when they come over here and all you get from them are blank looks if you even mention it. My BMWs had headlamp levers to switch and my present car can be set from the dashboard. A useful tip is that if your speedo shows both miles and kilometres then you can use it as a ready-reckoner to convert distances from one to the other. -
Lack of source material can be a problem.

Capital One Cup 3rd Round Draw - Home to Bristol City

Me too -
I go to St Mary's to watch the football, not for the food, but if they're going to sell it then they should at least do it properly. I can understand the point of view of those who because of lack of time would like to grab something to eat. Gagging for a pint was never my thing though, there's plenty of time before and after the game for that.

Easily confused. The railway station was changed from Bishopstoke to Eastleigh because of the misunderstanding.

Thanks for posting these, much appreciated.

Ah, thanks. I like to carry a complete set for Europe and I know that some countries can vary. In some places you need two triangles. My Mercedes has a built-in satnav and they don't list POIs because in some countries they are not legal. -

There has been some debate on this. Radar detectors are illegal but you can have a road map that lists the locations of the cameras. Some have argued that a sat-nav is no different from this but I believe that these have now been specifically excluded.
