  1. Shame you didn't mention this earlier. My missus was in the petrol station in North Baddesley on Monday and he was next to her filling up with diesel. She was a bit miffed because she had to drag the hose around her car to the other side.
  2. Yeah, whatever.
  3. Injured and out. That applies to many a good player that we've had.
  4. Our aim should be to win every game. If we happen to get promoted, then so be it.
  5. Just google 'bbc proxy iplayer free' and see what you get. Here's a suggestion. There are plenty of companies who charge a modest monthly fee, about £5 I think. http://www.iplayerproxy4u.com/
  6. Please stop. You're making my head hurt.
  7. Closely followed by the bus in second place.
  8. But we might have lost to Plymouth and then we would have needed 3 points from yesterday.
  9. Did anybody get a video of the fellow who joined the pitch invasion from the north Kingsland whose pants and trousers fell to his ankles resulting in him falling flat on his face?
  10. That was the smell of victory. You'll get used to it.
  11. Your wish shall be granted!
  12. Great video. Any idea why Guly has his shirt on back to front?
  13. Injury in the warm up, I was told. He took it off at half time.
  14. Both looked full to me.
  15. The players held up a tinpot cup and those at the front of the mob cheered. From about 10 minutes before the end of the game there was a small table just outside the players' tunnel with a red cloth on it. The writing was something like 'Npower going up' The tinpot cup was standing on this table.
  16. Real fans, real football. If only the media could appreciate what a priceless treasure we have in our lower leagues.
  17. Same footage but more info on this commentary: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tXAdr3bQnaw Apparently it hadn't flown for 10 years.
  18. We ate at a 3-star one in the Auvergne near Laguiole - http://www.bras.fr - which was quite an experience, especially as somebody else was paying. 4000 feet up in the hills watching the sun go down was rather pleasant. I used to organise exchange football trips to brittany and some of the local restaurants that our hosts chose were unforgettable, especially when you consider that they were catering for over a hundred guests. Also: 'Le Coq Gadby' in Rennes was good. 'Jules Verne' up the Eiffel tower is also good, especially when someone else pays.
  19. Have you tried the companies direct? Often there is somebody who acts as historian, possibly someone who is now retired.
  20. As the Duke of Wellington said of the Battle of Waterloo: "It has been a damn nice thing-the nearest run thing you ever saw..." But it could so easily have turned out different. As Thatcher once said: "Just rejoice at that news..."
  21. Precisely. Having a flag does not prevent a different, more permament memorial, but it would be a striking and uplifting reminder of the man who saved the club.
  22. I think they have all performed brilliantly as a team and each deserves an ovation. If I had to choose I would say Fonte.
  23. Some people are easily satisfied.
  24. Can we only choose one or is it like AV? Bournemouth, if not, then Huddersfield. Respect:
  25. It was significant that Graeme Murty last night singled out Connolly's part in Lallana's goal at Brentford. He was showing how the way you receive the ball and turn with it creates time for your team-mates.
