  1. No mention of Worthingtons, unless of course, that is what is being re-branded as "Saints Ale!!"
  2. It never ceases to amaze me how with some posters, what they read in the tabloids is gospel, as long as it fits with their agenda but if it doesn't, it's bollix!!
  3. Flop (for me) was Stuart Ripley, who I really rated as a player before we signed him. I think Marsden has to be the signing I had least expectation of that came good (although I don't think he was as good as some make out).
  4. Anything but that cream-flow sheite that they sell now! Trouble is it'll probably go from Tetley's to the just as unpalatable John Smith Smooth!!
  5. Based on Scudamore's original design, I'd like to see something like this!
  6. Although I remember Ivan Golac and Marian Pahars with much affection, the best for me was Ronnie Ekelund. Just a real shame the injury prevented him from reaching his true potential, which was World Class!
  7. Blimey, I remember the days when the replica kits weren't launched until a couple of months into the season. Mind you, they used to last 3 or 4 seasons then.
  8. Maybe not all but certainly season ticket holders, certainly.
  9. Definitely have replays at the KC Stadium. Think we had them when we were first relegated but the equipment was taken out as part of Lowe's cost cutting.
  10. It certainly pi%%ed down all day in Marseille. We arrived at dawn and being only 13 at the time, couldn't take shelter in the pub. Think I overdosed on coffee that day.
  11. The Channon Testmonial was memorable, only for the fact that I was one of the thousands that were locked out. Fortunately I was at a slightly more important game a couple of days earlier.
  12. That was my first memory of evening (always Tuesday) matches at the Dell. That and the Glasgow Rangers two legged tie in the Texaco Cup, where we beat them by some rediculous aggregate.
  13. Have to agree but could never really see why 60 year olds counted as Seniors in the first place. I can however, see how this will cause animosity with supporters (my brother included) that took advantage of this but are now reclassified as Adult.
  14. Actually it's the first. How tardy of us!
  15. Dagenham and Redbridge it is then!!
  16. It will start alphabetical then go with whoever has the best start and as usual, that won't be us.
  17. Bristol Rovers are a much bigger club than Torquay and have far more potential.
  18. Or greed of certain members of the board. It certainly wasn't a unanimous decision! http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11095_6951777,00.html?utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter
  19. I'd take the £36 Million prize money that Blackpool made in their ONE season in the Prem, any day of the week.
  20. FFS!! White Out!!!!
  21. Don't think that the club is saying they're not good enough. All clubs have to release youngsters because they can't just keep everyone, who has come through the academy ranks. They need to make room for the next intake and so on and so forth. Several of this intake will probably make it as pros elsewhere and may have to go down to go up, like Denis Wise, Kevin Phillips etc. have done in years gone by.
  22. Suspect Connolly will have been offered some sort of pay as you play deal, which may or may not be acceptable to him?
  23. Me neither and I've been a Saints fan for 40 years.
  24. Jordan Sibley's tweet said there would be "some more" news coming up on the OS! No more, no less! Seems like the Chinese whispers and rumour mill has somehow stretched that to being blockbusting, take-ones-breath-away news and if it's not he's going to damned for it.
