  1. How do they come to their decision on who's in and who's out? http://www.football-league.co.uk/staticFiles/6b/4b/0,,10794~150379,00.pdf Harding's made it in and he played well and scored (so not knocking him) but at least 4 of our players were better on the day. Ward and Greer must have been unbelievably good to keep Jaidi and Fonte out of that team.
  2. Nope, pretty sure it was Chris Nicholl's team of the late 80's.
  3. Can't be! Remember, he got banned just for "being a scummer on a wind up!"
  4. You weren't too sure the first time, now you're positive? I think he'll play a few games early season to try and get his game back on track, prior to the Bangladeshi Lords test in May.
  5. The Finnish surgeon has stated that it was a completely torn achilles. The operation went as well as he could have hoped and Becks will be out for 6 months at the very least.
  6. Pearson has said that they hope to have a new manager in place by Wednesday but ruled out it being Curbishley. I reckon it could be Jewell.
  7. Probably, that's why I said rumours. But if true, can definitely see why he would be sacked.
  8. Unsubstantiated and probably libellous!
  9. What Fred the Skate in a wig?
  10. That's probably true but I am hearing all sorts of rumours up here about why he was sacked.
  11. It's a Skate wind up and he's not being mentioned by the press (Curbishley. Megson, Coppell and Jewell are favourites). http://www.sporthull.co.uk/headlines/HULL-CITY-Megson-Curbishley-lead-betting/article-1912478-detail/article.html They shouldn't throw stones IMO because they might find that Avram Grant "doesn't have the stomach for the fight!"
  12. He came up against a defence that is better than the level they are playing. When he moves, he'll be playing against similar standard defenders week in, week out and won't get a sniff.
  13. If Leeds don't make automatic promotion, they'll bottle it in the P/O semi-finals.
  14. Don't see how you can say One Vision doesn't have any relevance when Saints came out to it at the Dell for around 15 years.
  15. Funny how this thread has gone from extending the stadium (or relocating) to just above 40k, to 50k and now 60k. Of course we're not going to build a 60k stadium like Arsenal's but something around 45k makes economic sense.
  16. Funny thing with this is that I was under the impression that the Juve fans boycotted the Alpi because of its out of city location rather than its size/design. Turin is a big city and Juve have fans from all over Italy, so I would have thought 42k (or 41,200 if you look at the stats at the bottom of the report) seems a little short-sighted.
  17. After 2 seasons where F1 looked like it was back to being a decent spectacle, that was DULL! DULL! DULL!!!
  18. It took a while but...
  19. Chose One Vision. Always used to get the hairs on the back of my neck to stand up, as I was entering the Dell turnstiles, in anticipation of the game.
  20. TBF, most of those wouldn't be able to get that many into their grounds. Still a great attendance and it did beat the Tees/Tyne derby at the Riverside and they do have the capacity.
  21. I think they are posters for the Sport Relief Mile venues.
  22. Will take the best part of a week to get them all out.
  23. All sounds very good but how long has this been mooted? I'll believe it when I see it. After-all they've managed to stuff up Ocean Village (not once but twice) and the Woolston Waterfront seems to have been abandoned (or at least, nothing seems to ever move). http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/news/5061932.Floating_a_vision_to_replace_Southampton_s_pier/
  24. Think he's been on borrowed time since Adam Pearson returned to the club. I think it's a bad decision but there are many around Hull who will be rejoicing.
  25. Sums it up for me too. Wouldn't have been in the starting 11 but would of made (and did make) a big difference, when England lost their way, or became one dimensional.
