Although Clive is (as far as I know) still a part of SISA, I wouldn't lump him in with the likes of Chorley and McMillan. Also, you can't accuse Illingsworth of being anti-Lowe, he was more of an apologist, if anything.
The trouble is, until there is an official supporters group to fill the void, the media will continue to go to McMillan, O'Callaghan or Illingsworth for sound-bites.
When SISA first started they could arguably call themselves the voice of the fans. They had massive membership all focussed on a common goal. The same could probably be said of the Trust as a collective of small shareholders attempting to have a greater say in the running of the club than they would individually. Neither now have a reason for being and should IMO be disbanded and maybe a new Supporters Association run by but independent to the club, bringing in all the regional supporters clubs would be the way to go.
It seems that NC and ML are still somewhat bitter about the way they were treated by Fry and BT and the fact that their actions cost the new regime 2 months preparation.
They've added the 2-0 bit since and although I haven't looked, if that is the way the sentence is constructed on the OS, I would suggest that they are the ones who are illiterate.
I agree! The OS is shockingly bad and I wish somebody had brought that up at the forum last night. I know that the independent one went down hill after Graham Hiley left but it was much better than this sh!te.
It's all very well bidding more but if you haven't got it, you haven't got it!! ML bid what he thought the club was worth and TBH probably more than he actually paid when Fry came back cap-in-hand to him. Fry had an unrealistic view of what the business was worth from day one and nearly managed to destroy us because of it.
