  1. Mmmm!!! Starts's the season plotting a course to win the Champions League and ends it going all out for the Johnston Paints Trophy!
  2. Tis true! The Southampton Coliseum Coach complete with 'SFC' number plate was also used by the blue few as their team bus.
  3. Looks like Karen Brady is leaving Brum after their takeover. Maybe she might be interested?
  4. We are in League 1, by definition every game is against unattractive opposition. I think that the matchday price of £22 to £25 is a tad high but the other offers, like adult and kid pair for the same price is excellent value, as were the season ticket prices.
  5. Block 34 of Kingsland, where I sit is £22. Centres are Blocks 5 to 9 inclusive and 29 to 33 inclusive. http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/staticFiles/c2/37/0,,10280~145346,00.pdf
  6. £10 with the newsletter!! http://saintsweb.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=16479&highlight=yeovil
  7. It's not exactly breaking any confidences or criticising Gillett in public is it? "Why are you not playing him?" "Because he's not showing me enough!" Something we all could have worked out for ourselves and something Gillett would have been told to his face. It's the same as any player not being picked for his club. The incumbents are there because they have given the manager a bigger reason to pick them.
  8. I'm not sure about him either TBH but would rather see him in CM than either Wotton or James.
  9. The thing is AP can't pick a team on past reputations and TBF he'd probably never heard of most of our players before he came here. He can only pick players that are (firstly) showing form on the training ground and (secondly) on the football pitch. At least he is making a point of going to the reserve games and giving players the opportunity to impress him in a match situation.
  10. Tafazolli own goal!! 2-3 Full Time!!
  11. I didn't mean that but the seats might be in one of the more popular areas of the ground where seats are at a premium (Northam, Itchen North, Blocks 34 and 35 of the Kingsland).
  12. If I was in your position I would email David Luker and arrange for the other 4 (presuming you have no more takers) to be sent back to allow them to re-sale the seats.
  13. I'm afraid that if have that painted on your car/van/lorry, you are fair game (unless of course several Saint's stickers are clearly visible to absolve you).
  14. I mutter the same the same phrase under my breath, whenever I see any vehicle with a P*mpey connection, all over the country. They invariably have a skate sticker in the window or the drivers have a blue rag sh!t shirt on. Seems to me that there are more of these plastics around than actually go to Nottarf Krap!
  15. Apparently the Scots are sticking with Burley!! http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11095_5560675,00.html
  16. Being a League 1 team beginning with "S" probably has something to do with it!
  17. Nothing wrong with the team going forward that season and with the amount of goals we scored we should have made automatic promotion, let alone the play-offs. Burley's failing was not sorting out the defence, which for an international defender himself, was criminal.
  18. I like Ben Reeves but he is another of our long line of midgets and I feel he will go the same way as the others, big potential in the boys leagues but not physically strong enough to hack it in the real world.
  19. Must be mad but I've gone for 4 wins in a row for our next 4 games.
  20. I think he said previously that he only wanted a squad of a certain size but certain players, either not required, not ready or not motivated were currently taking up some of those places.
  21. I agree with Boyle. Only seen him play the once but was impressed with him.
  22. It was because of their poor support that they slashed ST prices last season.
  23. If you have read the book., if anyone it should be 'Flash' Gordon Watson that should be worried about any police investigation into spread betting, not MLT, who was at worse gullible to join in with GW's plan.
  24. No they ceased to use the away goal rule in 2000.
  25. I think they've shot themselves in the foot with the £15 walk-up charge. Many people decide on the spur of the moment whether to go to these sort of games but can't see many doing that at £15 a ticket.
