Ditto!! Mind you if it piszes down all day in London, I might still go!!
-
Because there were no points at stake and the more game-time he gets, the less unfit he will be.
-
Scowcroft has signed a one year deal with Orient.
-
Seeing he was 3rd Man in the Sky Commentary box at Lords, I'd say more than highly unlikely.
-
Many of the tickets "sold" were given out as freebies either with ST's or to schools. Not all of them were ever going to turn up, so if it was 21/22,000, 26,000 is about right.

No but a paying customer does not warrant a SWF thread!! Is he coming? I haven't an f'ing clue nor do I f'ing care!!!
-
TBH Who actually gives a sh!t? FFS move on people!! If they pay their way in and from what we're led to believe, their are no freeloaders any more. Then if they feel they want to be there, then I'm sure the club will welcome their money as much as anyone's. I suspect though that now it is no longer their train-set, they will not be seen anywhere near St Mary's again.
-
Do they also show football on those sort of channels?
-
No probably not but then there are people who think the same of WGS, Coppell, Curbishley, Ince or whoever and others trying to ague that Adams (either of them) would be a good appointment. I think it is a good if not spectacular appointment. We could have done better (although we don;t know that realistically) but we could certainly done much much worse!! As an aside, I see that Adam Leitch is claiming it as yet another Echo EXCLUSIVE!!!
-
Now you're struggling!!! Fans? Maybe? We'll see!!

Until Skybet comes up with someone else as odds-on favourite tomorrow!!
-
Most of it is only repeating what Tony Husband said on South Today. Nobody as far as I know, as actually said it's definitely him or he is going to be revealed tomorrow. More rumour or 2+2=5, I reckon.
-
Henderson actually said he expected the appointment within days and said he would be preparing the team for the Ajax game "until he is told otherwise". That sounds to me that the new guy will be introduced either before or at HT of the Ajax game but SH will be the nominated manager for the game.

The thing is we don't know the make up of the board of directors yet. We know ML is the owner but is likely to be hands off. NC as CEO is apparently a temporary appointment and AO is COO. These guys probably want to look after the business and commercial side of the operation but not necessarily the football operations. I wouldn't necessarily say we need a DoF but wouldn't be surprised if there wasn't a General Manager and Head Coach scenario. An GM who's an administrator that looks after player contracts etc. and reports directly to the COO. With Head Coach or Team Manager who looks after the playing side.

Definitely got to be Pulis with that logo!
-
I think he would. Coppell would still be my first choice and Strachan my second but Pardew wouldn't be a bad choice, that said I'd prefer Curbishley to him.
-
Yes, from 33/1 against yesterday.
-
They'd eat them, surely? Sorry!!
-
It depends how good (& expensive) their lawyer is.

2nd half v Cheltenham was 4-4-2 but 1st half was a dire 4-5-1 but that could just have been to give certain players game time?

Bookies odds on next Southampton manager
krissyboy31 replied to Matthew Le God's topic in The Saints
It all seems to be controlled by nothing more than rumour an innuendo. I wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't a rank outsider or even somebody not even listed. -
We should insist that the announcer says "And the goal scorer, sponsored by The Saints Web Forum, is No ** xxxx xxxxxxx!" Is that too much to ask? That we actually score a goal, that is!!
-
Yes, he scored at Cheltenham a few years ago, never to be seen again.
-
Did you mean to spell that with an "L"?
-
Thank-you very much for being our owner!! (Aintree Iron - The Scaffold c'70's).
