The way to go, without any significant outside investment coming in, would be to remove the current board. Get in a completely independent CEO. A representative of the 3 major shareholders, but none of the actual individuals (i.e. Lowe's rep could be Cowen). A representative of the remanining shareholding and replace the incompetent Jones with a professional Financial Director, one that actually directs the finances of the club. Pie in the sky? Well may be but at least it might start healing some of the rifts apparent in all of SFC's stakeholders, fans, employees and shareholders alike. -
It probably means that we didn't sit down and discuss the situation with the player/his agent/Chelsea and just took it for granted that the loan extension would be a formality. Watford obviously wanted the player and went out to sell themselves. That, the mess this club is in and the fact that and Watford's new manager and Cork know each other very well, made Cork's decision. All IMHO.

Just a hunch! I reckon they gave it to Kelvin by default after the true winner left the club!

A little 'fun'... Good things to have come out of Holland.

Rudi: Too many youngsters playing and I want away

Absolute tosh! He's head and shoulders better than most of the players around him and along with Perry and Davis was one of the main reasons we weren't facing a cricket score against us Sunday. -

But why should any player move to another club for lower wages than he's getting. Would you? -
Couldn't agree more. His father advised him for the first few years of his reign at Burton (until his untimely death) and he played under some of the best managers this country has ever produced, in the aforementioned Brian, Bob Paisley and Joe Fagan. Oh and I forgot Bobby Robson for England.

It's called respect. Rupert doesn't seem to show much of that to either his employees or his customers. No wonder we're up sh!t creek. -

I'm begining to think it's about REVENGE. To ruin everybody that ousted him in the first place and that includes fans and shareholders. -
I think given the right service, Saga could score a dozen or so goals during the remainder of the season. I see nobody else in our squad to come close to that.

Off subject and not Saints related...But...Did anyone see that pratt on SSN bemoaning Saggy Chop's and Defoe's lack of loyaty and only using Pumpey to kick start their careers. LMAO

It wouldn't have been offside if he had left it for his mate next to him to nod it in because he had come from an onside position but Welbeck, in an offside position when O'shea headed originally, became active when he decided he would nod in the rebound.

That's like saying if we hadn't of conceded 2 goals in injury time v Boro, or a last kick equaliser v Everton, we wouldn't have been relegated. Unforetunately those things happened. Forest completely outplayed us and it still wasn't enough to save their manager.

Any less than 7 (probably 9 in reality) and we are b*ggered. I can't see us getting more than 5 TBH.

I didn't renew this year and nothing that has happened since has made me regret it or tempt me to do so next year.

Rudi's playing nowhere against Barnsley because he is suspended after his booking yesterday.
-
That was a joke, may be I should have put a winky thingy next to it. However, I like the fact that Gillett gets stuck in but his pass completion and his control are shocking.
-
Exactly!!!

I thought he gave the Man U defence more problems in the short time he was on than DMG (and before him, Paterson) did the rest of the match.

Pretty sure Richard Chorley was.

Hardly inspiring, is it!
