Does anyone think he would have taken the job and uprooted from Canada if he didn't think we had potential to be better than we are? Getting there of course, could be a challenge but he wouldn't be wasting his time with us, if he didn't believe it.

I thought the "9 hour road trip" to Wembley was a decent indication that he fully expects MoPo to stay. P.S. I got exactly the same feeling from Les Read's appearance on FFS.

Fantastically positive interview on Youtube. Looks like there is nothing kmee jerk about this appointment, it has all been carefully planned, maybe even before the resignation of Cortese. KL obviously wanted to be more involved with the club. Cortese wasn't playing ball,so had to go. It sounds from his interview that he had had dealings with the Leibherr organisation and Markus, in the past and KL must have been very convincing to have lured Kreuger to what is still pretty much a provincial English football club, when he probably could have had his pick of similar positions within his own sport, all over North America and beyond.

I am still angry we didn't go all out to try and win the competition but the view is slightly clouded (especially with foreign owners) by the vast amounts of money each position in the league generates. I wouldn't be surprised if MoPo's bonuses were solely dependent on league position. Until they start offering a Champions League place for winning the FA Cup, then I suspect that will not change. Always next year though!!

Why would you drop Chambers. He was probably our best player against Liverpool.

Just back in. Great all round performance. Don't really know who I'd give MoM to. The midfield 3 and the 2 fullbacks where outstanding. Could & probably should have been more than 1 nil but it says something when their MoM was the keeper and the local radio were purring over our performance.

He probably wasn't bargaining on Osvaldo's punch-up but he's hardly set the world on fire since he's been here and he will be replaced (if not now, in the summer).

Probably also decided because of the amount of games in a short period. Maybe if we had a full week till the next game, Lovren would have been risked and Shaw v Tottenham. At this time of the year teams have to use their squads, even if they are a little stretched, so leaving out the players that are a little 'under the weather' is the sensible thing to do.
