  1. Exactly my thoughts.
  2. I don't think that that changes things. The £2.2M still goes to Gaydamak but it's not a direct transaction from the PL. It goes to the club and under the terms of the previous CVA (in order to get a yes vote) and then gets transferred to AG.
  3. Do they have a town cryer? "Oh Yeah! Oh Yeah!"
  4. What's Mickey Fialka doing these days?
  5. The Skates should be grateful that these are interest free! Certainly not like Chinny that! He must be going soft!!
  6. No, he's probably trying to secure his severance pay!
  7. If the tickets were £23/34 I reckon we would have sold out but at £36 and £29 concessions, not a chance.
  8. Would not be allowed and in any case it would just add to their overall debt.
  9. Got mine today: Barnsley and Coventry Kingsland North. Apparently Barnsley selling very well. Blocks 34 and 35 have only got pairs of seats at the front or near the back.
  10. They said tonight that the last kit was worn for the grand amount of 11 times. That is one hell of a ripoff! BTW I don't like the badge on the new kit. It is just not right in red.
  11. In past seasons Jack Cork would have won it with the performances he's put in but 3 players have really stood out: Jos, Lallana and Lambert. If it hadn't been for Adz injury's I'd have gone with him but for pure consistency of performance the other two edge it and of the two, I think you have to go for the striker (especially as this is Rickie's first season at this level and he's made it look like he's played there all his career).
  12. That just can't be right because that infers that no tickets will be sold after the Donny game. If there are still some available, with 2 weeks to go, of course they're going to sell them.
  13. Don't really know what all the fuss is about. It's a new ground with a plastic American name, which has no meaning to Hampshire and the surrounding area. If it had been Surrey and the Oval (which seems to have a new name every year) then I as a fan and traditionalist I would have been much more upset.
  14. Nearest to the river, adjacent to the marina.
  15. IIRC When Flybe were the sponsors they laid on a one off flight between Soton and Humberside.
  16. Good news. Liked him as a player and think he'll be a decent coach. Never has a bad word to say about Saints on LKO.
  17. Gilchrist, Stokes, O'Brian and Fisher shared it before Ball and McDougall played there occasionally.
  18. Just looked at In That Number and you ate correct Bally played 7 and Holmes and then, Williams played 4, even though the latter 2 were the more attacking players.
  19. Me neither!! Will obviously be going to this one and £34 for me and nipper, as opposed to £65 to go to Leeds.
  20. I know my memory may be fading somewhat but Bally in the number 7 shirt?? He may have played the odd game but surely No.4 was his position.
  21. Surely if that were the case, Phil would have managed to blag several rounds of golf with them already!
  22. Kevin Keegan
  23. The trouble is there are very few quality English goalkeepers these days. Hart is international class and Green and Carson, who are probably the next best 2 and therefore claim the England jersey are decent club keepers but not international class. IMO Kelvin comes a long way down the list and will/should never play for England.
  24. What really made me laugh was how he kept on about being a family club. Expected him to say to Chappers, "we're a f***ing family club, you c**t!"
