There was one on Twitter last night that was intact with the swear words bleeped out rather than removed completely. It was quite easy to make your own mind up on what the words were though.
-
Trouble is, he can only take one of them.

This! Although that is very much with my selfish Saints' supporter's hat on, not my delighted for Rickie one.
-
I get where you're coming from but they are different types of player. Holt is more in the Sharp mould. Rickie (with the possible exception of Andy Carroll) is probably the closest to a Shearer type English player there is at the moment. Not of course trying to stretch anybody's imagination enough to say that Rickie is in AS's class.

I guess not guaranteed but on stats from thae last 15 years 60 points gets you 13th or 14th on average.

Is that the P*mpey school of creative accountancy? There are about 50 in that picture tops! Also, if the Steward hasn't been paid wages from god knows when, I'm not surprised he was up for a bit of [more unpaid] overtime.

Yeh, the Skate that used to have letters after his name...................O.G!!

Corporate bonuses should be worked out on a percentage of profit. If no profit or worse, a loss is made NO bonuses should be paid.

Good player when thing were going his way, didn't want to know if they weren't. Abiding memory of him was sulking on his own after being left out of the cup final squad.
-
No, he was very definite about it. It was on the subject of Frazer he was non-committal.
-
How do you know these people weren't just on short term contracts?
-
More likely to be Swissair so Cortese wins.

Agree with that. I also think England should have it's own National Anthem. Of those available Jerusalem would be my choice but I wouldn't mind a brand new one (maybe composed by ALW) like the Aussies and New Zealanders have (remembering they had GSTQ up to the late 70's).

By the sounds of it this is going to be a rechargeable cash card and what you load and spend will give you loyalty points, much like an airline frequent flyer programme. Wouldn't surprise me if they didn't team up with local partners where you could top up your points by shopping/eating/using their facilities, also.
-
TBH I think that's exactly what they mean. My take on it is that it will be like a Tesco Clubcard where every pound spend at the club, beit tickets (ST included), drinks and snacks in the bars and concourse or purchases from the megastores are transferred into loyalty points. Could be wrong though! Don't know whether away tickets would count though because that is not the club's money (apart from an admin charge). I would imagine that travel club would count and the further you are travelling the more points you would accrue, simply on cost.

Top post! I concur completely.

But Adkins did say (about Frazer) that he didn't want the opposition to know whether he would be playing or not. Butterfield is now fit though!
-
That hardly adds weight to Landford's argument.

Up here it's either Capital (alright if you're a 12/16 year old) Viking which is a bit like Heart or KCFM, which we have on in the office. A bit MOR but okay and has a decent enough mix and Tony Blackburn playing Motown on a Friday morning. Listen and swear at Talksh!te in the car, God knows why because Hawksbee and Jacobs are the only ones worth listening to and they are generally on while I'm at work.
-
They play some good football. Their problem is they can't stick the ball in the net. McLean scored loads in L1 with Peterborough but unlike Rickie, he hasn't been able to replicate that in the higher division.

The guy has always been a grade A to55er!! Would love to see him fail to get them promotion and get the sack the very next day.
-
Should never have let Ormerod and the Mule go IMO.
-
Exactly! And all they do is bleat about how unfair of the FL not to let them get some loans in.

From what he was saying last night, I got the impression that he had already lined up a coaching job. Don't know where though, probably Reading.
