To a degree I think your correct with respect to 'back up' to Rickie but I do think there is something in the Saints fit argument. I don't think he is currently up to playing the way we played on Tuesday night, hustling, pressing and chasing right into the 95th minute.

Not sure parking the bus is an option for them. They need wins and need them fast. At this stage of the season when you are in the bottom 2 draws are of no real use.
-
No, either or! I bought for Barnsley and Coventry at the same time. Unable to make home midweek games.
-
I'll stick up for them. It's more than we've ever taken to Wigan for a league game,

Living proof that the SPL is a stronger league than the Prem. He "wasn't good enough" to play in Scotland but is on the brink of playing in the English top flight.

Thought De Ridder was good last night and gave their LB a torrid time.

I think PFC123 must have graduated from the same creative accountancy school Android went to. There was at least 700 of us at Hull last night and if it had been a Saturday there would have been 3 times that.

For Bill Dodgin read Sam Allardyce. Long ball game always gets found out.

That set of results last night has convinced me that the pressure WE are putting on the other teams is breaking them. IMO we will go up as champions with several points to spare.

voted Morgan but can see why many would have gone with Jos.

Up here all the reports and complimentary and the local press and radio reckon that Lallana is by far the best player in the division (despite that miss). -

Slightly off topic. Just seen the goals on SNN and they said the second was scored by "Celtic loanee" Jos Hooiveld. FAIL!! -
I reckon he'll still have a part to play in our promotion procession.
-
True but then again, not too far different from what a lot of posters were saying on here.

Well I thought about starting a back from the game thread but decided to add to this one. Decent performance and really never in doubt from the time we scored the first. They kept Rickie pretty quiet but just allowed Lallana, Morgan and Cork to pretty much boss the game. The defence was pretty spot on. Joss won just about everything air and they were reduced mainly to long range shots. Not spectacular but efficient and I'll take that every game from now till the end of the season. -
Was thinking about this today and discussed how lucky he was for it to have happened in this era. When I first started going to the Dell and for many years after, all we had was the amateurs of the St John Ambulance (no offence) with their wood and canvas stretchers. He wouldn't have stood a chance back then.

That's the test, if you can spell it you can't be it.

The multi-story in Ocean Village isn't too far and they charge £1/hr. -
TBH the cockups add to the show, especially when the rest of the panel continually rib whoever has made them. We generally get good press from Soccer Saturday and SSN has a whole because of the amount of staff (panelists and presenters) who have Saints' sympathies.

Things like this happen. It's called sport. Didn't Rochdale do the double over us last season? Water under the bridge now.

Even if his condition is stable he is likely to be in ITU for several days and could still deteriorate. I don't think there is really a contradiction here.
