The game has moved on too much since those days and the idea that a team like us could accommodate a luxury player like that is ridiculous. Our whole strategy only works if all 10 outfield players put in the required effort to defend as a team. Regardless of what talent he might have, I don't see a player like Alli fitting into that, do you? Personally, I think it's too risky and whatever benefits he might bring would be offset by potential negative influence on the dressing room as a whole.
