Yeah I think the joke has run its course now. Time to kick it into the long grass.

Are we signing Lewis Dobbin from Villa?
-
I'm inclined to agree. He was in good form up until he was cynically taken out against Norwich. Even if his G/A assist stats aren't all that, the one thing he excels at is keeping defenders occupied, which creates space for others. I think we should at least see how well he plays in Still's system before writing him off completely.

Much more likely to kick off, than kick on. And I don't mean in a football sense.

It's okay, my first album was bloody Five Star 🤦

In my defence, m'lud, I was only 9 years old and had never heard that song before. I guess that same defence from RPJ didn't wash with the judge.

Is this the same owner that tried to formally change their name to the Hull Tigers a few years ago and was told to fuck off by literally everyone including the FA?

Ghostbusters - Ray Parker Jr.

Really hard to whittle my entire GOAT playlist down to just ten tracks but here goes... Stone Roses - Made of Stone Aretha Franklin - Say a Little Prayer Frankie Valli - The Night Rufus & Chaka Khan - Ain't Nobody Depeche Mode - Enjoy the Silence Massive Attack - Unfinished Sympathy Love - Alone Again Or Primal Scream - Movin on Up Levellers - What a Beautiful Day Bob Marley - No Woman No Cry Special mention: Kula Shaker - The Great Hosannah. I get why they are so universally disliked by indie purists, and I can't say I'm a fan of most of their stuff, but this opening track from their second album is a massively underrated great tune IMO.

So they're good enough to get us into a playoff spot, but not for automatic promotion. Glad we cleared that up.

I'd rather not know what's going on in his head TBH.

If she could bring herself back from the dead to do that, I would finally be convinced of her paranormal abilities.

Enjoying Future Islands. The front man is an interesting character. Clearly pours his heart and soul into the performance.

Maybe you're just too old to receive what they're trying to transmit 😉

Meanwhile on the Park Stage, Kae Tempest has clearly had reduction surgery and been taking testosterone supplements. So much so that my daughter assumed it was actually a bloke on stage. They've changed an awful lot since I first saw 'her' at Bestival in 2011 fronting a band called Sound of Rum. Still a great artist though.

I was hoping to catch a bit of Scissor Sisters but the feed from the Woodsies Stage failed. I know they're cheesier than a wotsit fondue, but I saw them at Homelands in Winchester in the mid 00s and they're a fun live act.

Got to be the most dreary and uninspiring Saturday headliner they've ever had. I get that he's very famous and still has a lot of dedicated fans, but this is utter shit.
-
Ezra Collective really bringing the party on the Other stage. I saw them a couple of weeks ago at Moovin festival and they're absolutely superb live.
-
Pulp have been really good. Seems the surprise act on the Park Stage is gonna be Haim. Not a huge fan but always worth watching their live shows, if only to see the gurning faces their bass player pulls
-
Oh and I'm looking forward to seeing just how much of Kneecap's set the BBC end up censoring, after announcing they wouldn't show it live.
-
There's a surprise act on the Pyramid stage this evening and loads of people are convinced it's gonna be Pulp. Have to say I'm really not a fan of their new material. If I was there I would be at the Park Stage tonight - Beth Gibbons followed by Caribou. Last night there was a glimpse of Paul McCartney watching one of the acts from the side of the stage, and I see that the Bootleg Beatles are due to play the acoustic stage tomorrow. I wonder if he'll join them on stage?

And not made by 10yo kids earning 30p a day.
