Spent the first night in Everton, and was charged £36 to pitch a two man tent 30' from the showers & toilets with screaming kids riding around on scooters and bikes, and dogs crapping everywhere!! 2nd night went to a very small campsite named 'Mirandas' next to Hordle. It was £10 a night to have a crap in a field and clean your teeth in a bath tub... But it was brilliant!!

£37.50 for two nights in a two man tent FFS with a ferkin portaloo in a field!! I only want to pitch my tent in a pub garden not buy the field.... What's the chances of just turning up and pitching it in the forest?

Going camping this afternoon for friday and saturday night in the New Forest. Does anyone know of any decent places to camp? Maybe by a river, must be near a good pub and hopefully with showers so I can de-cheese in the morning.
