No but they didn't get us successive promotions either. Adkins has earned his chance. The other two you mention, you would need to have been blind to see they were sheet.

Excuse me but whether Ramirez is a waste of money or not remains to be seen. Im sure it's reasonable to see what impact he has on our results over the season before deciding he was a waste of investment after one second half substitutes appearance. Il have the lottery numbers too please.

I didn't say you wanted him gone, but what is becoming obvious on here is that a handful are itching towards a situation where replacing Adkins soon is a 'valid' discussion. My reference to Fergie, I feel is a valid one because it is perfect example of what an up and coming, obviously bright and energetic manager can do at a club given the time and resources. We have something now that we didn't have before, and that is resources. What we had before, that WE DON'T NEED now, is a conveyor belt of new managers. We all know how that story ends. If Adkins in the new year, has us bottom with daylight irreversibly disappearing, replacing him is a valid discussion. To wet the bed now, after 4 games (after having played 3 of the 4 chamions league teams) that says more about the bedwetting nature of the poster than it does about the merits of his views.

If I'm being honest, I think 2 players have to be the minimum target for us. Left back with pace (an established one) And a goalkeeper. I think Yoshida will cut a competent defender in this league, he has enough experience playing against quality in not just the Eredevisie but also against the best, on the World stage. Gazzaniga is too raw, although given Davis' current displays, I would chuck him in. Surely couldn't be any more costly than Davis? As long as he is doing the basics such as covering near posts and saving routine up and over free kicks I would be ecstatic. No need for world class reflex saves! Just par keeping I will take currently.

We need to grit our teeth and endure. If after January, players aren't brought in and it's looking like we are losing our shot to stay up, I would say consider replacing him. But after 4 games, God, Some of our lot haven't got a scooby!

in Alex Fergusons 3rd season around October, they were sat around 17th, there were calls for him to be sacked... If he had been, what would have been of Utd now? Adkins IS our man, be patient. We will be successful!

If we change formation at home, it will only make it that much longer to get fully accustomed to our new formation. Otherwise it would be logical, to just go 4-4-2 and I know we'll pick up the points (lambert will be back to best) but you can't do that away in this league so might be 1 step forward fir sake of 2 steps back. If they are serious long term about this 4-3-3/4-3-2-1 formation, the sooner we get totally comfortable with it, the better.

Very true. When are we going to stop standing off players? Most shots against team in the league was a stat I read earlier in week somewhere. Anyway, start with with ram, yosh and I have to say, Davis is not doing very good at all. I'd give gazzaniga a run! Season starts against villa!
