wont he just ruin it?
-
This, would be excellent Adkins back to manage promotion team?
-
how is that without a doubt? MP came to us after getting sacked because his team were facing relegation. He joined one of the most talented and settled squads I can remember, and got us 8th, which at best was seen as 'best of the rest', while also surrenderig in the cups Hes now joined a team seemingly termanally stuck in a fight for 5-4th, and this season has them fighting around.....5-4th place. In a season where Leicester are top! Koeman meanwhile joined in the middle of a storm for our club, where most pundits had us favourite for relegation. But with a much diminished squad and using players, you yourself, have mostly written off, manged to get us to our highest ever points total and position in the prem there might be an argument to be had over who is better, but to say it is without doubt is ridiculous

pens did ruin it, but still one of the best games ive been to. so many ups and downs. brilliant atomsphere too
-
but the jury have not been proven wrong yet and didnt this get referred due to new evidence coming forward? bit tough for a jury to consider and, possibly, reach a different conclucion based on evidence they didnt see

Eamonn Holmes' awkward interview with Jeremy Corbyn
RedFear replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Lounge
what was awkward about that??? in fact, for eamonn holmes, whose a bit of an arse, that was a pretty dull strait-laced interview if you want awakward, look up his interview with david cassidy just a few days ago -
any truth to the rumour each ticket comes with a shop-soiled chocolate orange?
-
very possibly but it might also come down to who offers first and I get the feeling Liverpool have decided to back Rodgers come what may for at least one more season will Poch have that luxury? We all know Levy has an itchy trigger finger and is always looking for whats 'new' and the current flavour of the month I just wouldn't be surprised if he had one eye on him that's all
-
I personally think there is a Jurgen Klopp shaped shadow hanging over Poch

CONFIRMED - Virgil Van Dijk joins on Five Year Deal
RedFear replied to Brizzie Saints's topic in The Saints
i personally like the way she looks like she keeps heading an invisible football while reporting -
the guy wants to worry less about us and more about trying to get a job after being let go from yet another club and sort yourself out you slurping fat slob

Post-Match Reaction: SAINTS 1-1 FC Midtjylland
RedFear replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
As said above. Any chance you could post more often? -
but thats not right though is it. His argument was 'people like JWP learn/learned more training everyday with people like Morgan' so if the quality has risen as you say, his point would be even stronger
-
exactly right alps. when is everyone else going to wake up like us two?? clyne left ages ago, where is his replacement? Its been obvious to anyone paying attention morgan was leaving since last year, where is his replacement? Forster got injured last year for **** sake, isnt about time we got an extra keeper in? what about full back? we have been weak there since last season, why oh why have we not got extra cover there? and its not just replacing players that have left, why dont we ever buy promising youngsters from abroad? if we dont start moving soon we will be left behind and Alps will have been the only one to have seen it coming we have been run like a sunday league team for too long now

Targett & Ward-Prowse named in England U21 Euro squad
RedFear replied to S-Clarke's topic in The Saints
Exactly, its such ******** that we didnt have the team out there. And that mustnt be allowed to get out as the reason we failed Italy had plenty of Serie B Players and people like Trotta, last seen struggling for games in the championship As always always always, come the tournament the manager bottled it/was leant on, to play 'big team' players probably for marketing reasons and yet again we are heading home early. Rubbish -
sounds like there is quite a buzz around this lad
-
but thats not it is it. I thought it was more to do with finding players that are undervalued based on their stats Thats how liverpool ended up with Downing, as he had the most accurate crosses relative to his price, and when added to Carroll having the most headed goals (or something along those lines), you end up with transfer gold possibly the reason its not really a big thing in football and something I very much doubt we used for any of our signings

CLUB ACCOUNTS: 2013/14 - Saints reveal first profit
RedFear replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
even stranger is a club on a 'sound financial footing' as he described (under Cortese, of course) needing a loan, some say unknown to the owner, from Vibrac unless of course this guy is just toeing his mates line and talking pure bull**** I wonder which one it is -
i hope in all this people are keeping in mind just how young he is. its incredible that he is this big a part, of a premier league midfield at his age. he could play for 3-4 more season and still be considered young to be in central midfield. the guy has immense potential. for what its worth i thought we suddently looked to be getting the ball forward quicker and with more purpose when he came on, and ok he may have mis-hit his shot, but we simply wouldnt have scored it at all if he hadnt been on the pitch, and wasnt it exactly the type of goal our captain said we would take just to get us going
-
'whilst we appreciate the thought, hes actually just grown out of nappies'
-
or effectively the players we sold either way making MPs point redunant
-
thats true aswell. I often thought for a guy that was at our club for something like 16 months, he took a hell of a lot of credit for our youth players and academy
-
didnt koeman say something about how he was almost in tears when he took his first training session? the team were running around a lot, but all over the place. with no obvious idea or set up
-
so spurs now have the combined brains that brought us, Forren, Mayuka and Osvaldo, while we have the manager that secured Tadic, Pelle and Mane?? hmmmmm, which horse to back in that race? and I wonder how many spurs fans think Long for 12m was a good deal, because their new head of recruitment thought it was (ps. i do like Long)
-
yep, i got it but only just watched the league one dvd a couple of weeks ago. Like Appy said, think thats my favourite ever Saints season. Its a great watch looking at it again, it was amazing just how bad our start to that season was
