It appears that Nick Illingsworth has been refused a season ticket
RedFear replied to hypochondriac's topic in The Saints
this pretty much sums up trust. its seems to be a regular occurance with anything they touch is the trust really still running? is there anyone left who takes any notice of it, let alone think it has any credibility? -
exactly. anyone can make up any assumption they like, based on their own personal bias the only definite fact is that there will be more season tickets holders at games this year then last

very good player. would be chuffed if this were true -
hmmm, hating someone for not finding them funny....seems a little harsh
-
yep exactly. i used to go to a few bournemouth games with my mate who's a fan and they do indeed HATE us. they would sing anti saints songs when we were two leagues apart and (looked like) had little chance of ever playing them i have no doubt at all some bournemouth mongs will be desperate to cause trouble when they face their bigger and far more successful neighbours

lol, chill out pal ..although to be fair you do sound like quite an interesting bloke
-
clearly you dont remember it that well as svensson's injury was the year previous. but one thing you are right about is the terrified look on claus's face during the warm up to that game. i was watching them from the first row at fratton and it was obvious they wernt up for it
-
yep, spot on no sensible thinking person can suggest pardew started the season with the team he wanted. he only started to get close in january, it could even be argued he still isnt there yet. our first ten games were our pre-season and to think we still almost made the play offs (most seasons we would have!). he has been excellent for us

SHOCK Brown doesnt like a memeber of the public. oh dear well i dont like everyone either i was watching live when he met her and when she started ranting about anything that came into her head and the the inevitiable moan about immingration my eyes rolled and i thought we here we go again. and her inteview after doesnt make her sound exactly up on things the other parties must be thinking, there by the grace of god.....etc etc if anyone saw cameroon meeting yoff yesterday and noticed his leaning back away from them the whole time will realise that polticians often meet people they would rather not and may even make comment about them in private that they rather not got made public

the wierd thing is, i bet he wins player of the year!
-
are the players still on huge bonuses for things like an fa cup win??
-
he sounds hard as **** ..hes got my vote

the club asked the echo to not print a story the echo gambled and printed anyway. they lost that gamble and are now banned. they have no one to blame but themselves. its simple. its not like it was some massive scoop. they should have just held fire i have no doubt that this will get resolved in the end and the echo will be welcomed back but next time you can be sure they wont print something they are asked not to and so ultimately the club wins

the fact that any 'grown' men would run onto the pitch because we had one a first leg johnstons paint trophy area final is frankly embarrassing but then we had the same after managing a draw at leyton orient so hardly surprising as for the ones throwing punches at the stewards. that was pathetic
-
exactly and its an ideology thats certainly not needed now and will definitely make matters worse for the average man we are just lucky 'dave' wasnt at the helm when the financial crisis first kicked off. but im pretty worried about what will happen when (as unfortunately seems likely) he takes the reigns
-
well im glad your not in charge of the team. antonio has been playing pro football for what..1 year?? and he is only 19 FFS!! he has the potential to be a very good player and as others have said a lot of papa's offsides are fairly marginal. he only needs the benefit of the doubt once or twice in a game and it could be what wins it. he was also very unselfish laying the ball on for lambert today mellis has been average most times ive seen him. but decent to have in the squad
-
the only thing to blame maggie for in all this is being blairs biggest inspiration!!

Jan Poortvliet in relegation battle (again)
RedFear replied to CHAPEL END CHARLIE's topic in The Saints
the guy was a ridiculous and embarrassing appointment all that bull**** PR that he had done this and that on limited budgets, look at his CV FFS!! he has done **** all Lowe was must have been off his head to think this guy could cut it -
Isnt fighting for job security and better working conditions the job of a union?? anyone upset that they dont get that in their place of work i suggest you join one when it comes to (what some see as) unreasonable demands. this will be a starting point for negotiations only a mug would go in asking for what you ultimately will be happy/looking to accept as for the government telling them to modernise, this coming from people who call each other honorable friend, must take an oath to the queen before entering parliament, still hold that ridiculous black rod event when opening parliament, have men in tights to 'guard' them etc etc

the website is appalling. i would look at the old one many times during the day until it became lowes mouthpiece. i have recently tried to use it again, but gave up after a minute or two as its just too hard to navigate and chock full of adverts and other useless things hiding anything interesting i now use the echo website for club info ahead of the OS, and i know im not the only one sort it out saints!
-
i should imagine they are being 'dealt' with in prison
-
a conservative government will be appalling unfortunately, it wont be long before we all find that out
-
obviously not, but i knew all about him about 5 mins after he bought chelsea, which was sort of my point anyhow i have learnt my lesson and will now subscribe to forbes magazine and study the worlds top billionaires like a lot of people i saw that list this morning on sky sports news and wondered where our own billionaire was. and, again, like a lot of people, just put it down to bad research well, thats my 3 posts seems a shame to have wasted them discussing my ignorance of the worlds richest people
-
Mittal well i really meant being clever and putting him top of the list, perhaps surprising a few people. but then again, how rich people are doesnt exactly excite me so maybe not such a shock i and people i know have never heard of him, even when the qpr takover happened
